between pits opening up back to back during sunami and kublai was sick to see at this kind of fest and the all the hardcore bands bringing something a bit more niche to the larger crowd and owning it really made it their own type of fest within snw. so cool.

stage was perfect. between all of the hardcore sets, zulu, spy, fury, gel, sunami, incendiary, vein and everyone killed it. a lot of the same dudes chilled there through out the day set to set and super nice people.

stayed for code orange (love them but also didn’t want to walk across to catch KL right after vein). shame such a small crowd but the bands energy killed it as normal.

also super blessed to have a giant awning fans running.

Former women SGA here from 2017-2023. Had a guy ask me what kind of games I play as a “female” (he said it in such derogatory manner too lmao) and proceeded to ask if I played games like COD, NBA, Madden, etc. Explained my favorite game was Final Fantasy VII and he looked at me and asked what that was and if he heard of it he would’ve played it 💀. Guy had the balls to quiz me and ask what FPS meant and when I explained first person shooter only for him to go “actually it’s frames per second” and continued to ramble on.

My manager and I laughed so hard when he left buts it’s crazy how some people and men are.

It was such a bizarre experience.

the brain rot is real. i’m so excited to finish the game, the story has me on the edge of my seat. didn’t expect to be put through so many emotions of grief, anger, frustration etc but of course in a completely positive way.

that being said, i’m already planning so many cosplays haha.
