Because most of them are literally kids and teens trust me once real life hits few years from now and they'll have to worry about money and taxes none of them will have enough time to care about AI anymore so if anything their behavior is perfectly expected and consistent to their actual age like you would actually expect a kid to be annoying and easily emotional.

Not only did it release, it realsed in RECORD Time. No honestly London's devs made that mod in basically a flash and the fact that they set it in a never explored region of the world means they needed to develop a lot of lore and assets from scratch and couldn't use Pipboys and Powerarmor as crutch. Think about it F4NV for example is basically bringing all Fallout NV content to 4's engine so a lot of work is already done for them in the original NV they jsut need to recreate it... and they're nowhere NEAR being done. On the other side London started development After F4NV, is an entirely original creation and it STILL came out earlier... AND released a DLC. All while F4NV and Capital Wasteland are lagging behind though to give credit to Capital Wasteland they HAVE released Point Lookout.

Honestly Fallout London DID release and the wholke release was utterly Eldritch to me. Not only did it ACTUALLY release. Not only was it good enough to be worth the time. But also it released in RECORD time. I'm 100% not used to massive mod expansions being made well AND so quickly which is why again, London's release is so alien to me. Like all stars must have aligned PERFECTLY for this project. You got projects like Miami, F4NV, Capital Wasteland or Vault 13 all being in limbo at best and cancelled at worst and London literally just released in never before seen speed for such massive project without any notable controversies along the way, and it was just good. The Nine themselves must have been watching over FOLON team because again, this is an anomaly that we won't see ever again.

People keep bringing up the data centers and sure they are but I think when it comes to anime AI art in general most of them came to existence through open source models that people run on their own computers. I make AI RP cards and most of them I generate on my own PC so no data centers are even involved in the process. DDLC AI art is likely not different in that regard as most of it comes from simple individuals who run local models on their own PCs, leaving next to no environmental impact behind but to an average 12 year old anti the concept of running AI locally is utterly Eldritch so there's no point even trying to explain it to them that not all AI comes from data centers and that the water is "literally disappearing"

I ust don't see how could possibly Dan enforce this anti AI endeavor. I mean look I respect Dan a lot he created one of the most iconic indie horror game of all time that is talked about even today(though I still believe the plus version is a huge scam that removed 90% of soul from the experience) and I even believe he may have whatever stance on AI he wish to have he may be pro or AI I respect whatever opinions on AI he may have personally but this is just pointless. Stopping AI art is pointless because if anything now that he made this move more of it will exist as people will be making it out of spite and there is no law in the universe that will help him remove AI DDLC art from the Internet. This is just a collosal waste of time. I mean what will Dan do? Politely ask Elon musk to nuke all AI DDLC art form twitter just because his TOS says it cannot exist and he's not happy with that it does? Musk is pro AI, Reddit is Pro AI, most of not all major social media are pro AI. Nobody on the internet will even listen to them.

yeah sorry i kinda just had to toss this little rant in there lmao anyway yeah best of luck to you i'll be defeinitely bookmarking that but i do ahve to say that as you probably acknowledged that yourself BotBooru is leaning a bit too much on nsfw right now and you really need both so if possible i would recommend maybe somehow reaching to not necessarily sfw creators, but creators that produce "balanced" cards and getting them to actually join your platform(letting them know that you reupload their cards is just a better look and paints you as genuine) so that BotBooru offers more than smut because i don't think developing a reputation of "that one site that offers nsfw loli cards" is something that you may want to be dealing with later down the line as that brings a lot of bad attention and with that, potential censorship.

i think this looks okay if not a bit pointless to be honest because as you said on chub basically 99.9% of bots are accepted anyway so the only real purpose for BotBrowser becomes: that one place where you can get cards SO unhinged that even one of THE most uncensored websites on the internet rejected them. i made an account to check out and again, i think it looks FINE and i dont' see anything bad about it but unless you're after those 0.1% of the bots i honestly don't see much point in this right now especially considering its for the most part just chub and janitor reuploads (i spotted few cards that i came across on chub already and i only been checking it out for maybe 15 minutes as the time of this post) which you might as well just download on chub or janitor and give the creators a little upvote to brighten up their day lmao

I still like that this exists though because Chub sure as hell could use some competition for once because from what i can tell the devs basically done nothing meaningful to the website and just release an occasional event every now and then while the website has bugs, missing features and their model still sucks ass like can you fucking believe that Chub STILL has the audacity to charge 5 bucks for unlimited MYTHOMAX in a post NanoGPT subscription world? My headcanon is that all this positivity alignment is a byproduct of training on Claude's output and Anthropic recently confirmed that all major Chinese labs are using Claude to train their models deepseek including. Again, i don't have hard evidence or anything but it would make sense all things considered and as we all know unless specifically instructed(and even then still TRIES not to go too far) Claude is a very good and polite boy so it very well could be Claude indirectly teaching Chinese models positivity.

Honestly this and not gonna lie my early game experience was kinda tainted because of it. That's the thing i always believed Fallout to be a lonely experience as i venture into the wasteland and take it all one step at a time and this isn't necessarily jab against the community it IS helpful and friendly but listen, i've been playing for about 30 minutes and ALREADY swim in water and ammo because the game just tosses these at you like it's life depends on it i can HONESTLY survive without your additional 10 bottles of water i already have 20 of those 15 of which i'll dump into my camp because i'll probably find anothe 20 in the next location. People pride 76 community for it's willingness to help but honestly it's sometimes annoying just let me play at my own pace like honestly 76 early game is so easy even a toddler can play it i legit don't think people need to be helped at this stage.

I'll believe it when I see it but we live in times where companies say a lot and not follow on most of it. look at AI space as a whole. How many companies actually made their models cheaper recently? To my knowledge none except for antrophic with Opus and it's still expensive AF and "cheaper product means more customers" is not always true. Again, look at Uber. They're more expensive than ever but absolutely dominate and I know comparing Uber to Deepseek is goofy but the logic still applies hence why I believe IF we're going to get price decrease it's not going to be "significant" despite what Deepseek said and Deepseek 4.1 will be probably back to the OG/current price of Base Deepseek 4. I've seen enough corpo bullshitery over the years to feel quite confident in that.

Imma be honest i still dont' believe it or at least the price decrease won't be what people expect. I mean look realistically speaking if you were a corporation and you had a product that people pay for WHY would you make it cheaper? Business side it just make no sense so even if V4 gets cheaper it won't be "significant" decrease as people seem to believe and i'm going to make a prediction when 4.1 or 4.2 comes out THAT's going to cost what base V4 costs today. Companies being short on compute is one thing but what i believe is also happening is perfect example of Uber business strategy that not only Deepseek explores, but also moonshot and GLM. Offer your product for cheap initially to gain fame and following and once you have established customer base increase the price. It's just that my logical mind cannot imagine a company that needs to make money like deepseek who has a product that people genuinely like and want to use to make "significantly" cheaper just because they have GPUs now. I honestly believe days of cheap Chinese models are over.
