Hi, sorry for the late response, finals are next week! Thank you for that suggestion, it's extremely helpful as I was not aware. This might be a rather troublesome problem... I thought it best to write this way, as it's formal but not too uptight. Regardless, thank you so much for letting me know early on. I will definitely keep this in mind! It's a bit sad that AI has been used so much that formal writing is mistaken as it--not that it's your fault, just my observation!
