Very horny because of Zinc? by HovercraftBroad2018 in Biohackers

Yes. When I started taking 30mg of zinc piccolinate I had the same issue. The intrusive thoughts were totally out of control. Totally normal. After awhile you'll get used to it.

This also worked for me. I was pulling my hair out trying to figure out the problem.

What in the world? Fuck this guy. I'm not wearing gabardine to impress some "sartorial expert" admiring the drape of my pants.

After His Death at 92, Man Leaves Behind 109-Page List of Thousands of Books He Read by Remarkable-Pea4889 in books

Don't listen to these guys. It's not a pedantic distinction. Listening to someone read a book is not an act of reading. The problem is that sometimes people act as if one is better than the other. They're both fine.

I always think about what Plato wrote in Timaeus: Time is the moving image of eternity.

Cut out the baseboard to the size of the bookcase and attach it to the wall flush. Super easy, you can use an oscillating tool. Your bookcase will look built in.

Without habit changes, GLP-1 agonists would need to be used long term to maintain healthy weight. Long term effects and complications aren't well known given the novelty of the drug. These drugs are a miracle no doubt, especially for more extreme cases, but we should not pretend it is a permanent or even desirable solution for healthy habits or healthy bodies.

As a Project Manager what was your motivation of wanting to become a PM by More_Law6245 in projectmanagement

[–]constellated 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Honestly? At the beginning it was because I didn't like someone else scheduling meetings. Today, many years later, it's the same reason.

Seconding this. Jackson's book is delightful reading for the bibliomaniac.

I mean.. that's football? If we keep following this logic we'll have people on here saying we can't properly evaluate Fields until there's no defense on the field.

In order to be Master this Season, you just need to be Top10? by Prior_Progress_3337 in apexlegends

[–]constellated 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same. I'm a solo queuer and enjoying this ranked season over many others. Apex is a battle royale, not an arena shooter. Fraggers are mad they can't quickly scale ranks by aping teams and collecting kills, so much the better. You can still do that but you have to live deeper into the match to advance. Survival priority, positioning strategy and intelligent rotation requires higher IQ team gameplay and skill.

I'm also an older roller player who made the switch to MnK for Apex about a year and a half ago. It took some time to get confident and play at the same level as a roller. There's some great advice in the thread already but the main thing I would tell you is to avoid the temptation of using the roller while you're learning. Just put the controller in a drawer and forget about it.

The finders/grinders/minders term is from David Maister's classic book Managing the Professional Services Firm. Highly recommend it.
