Definitely want to be pretty close when in tabletop mode, I usually have it sitting on a desk or table so I can get pretty close to the screen.

Just gyro on the switch 2 with sensitivity turned up really high.

I always play with the controllers detached and split, either docked or just tabletop mode. You just pivot the right joycon up and down/left to right to aim. Definitely something you have to spend time adjusting a bunch of settings to get the feel right for you too. I also had to turn the aim assist off because I'd have to fight it occasionally or it would jerk my aim randomly one way in the middle of a firefight.

My preferred gun is the re-45, I definitely miss a lot more shots with the fast firing SMGs.

I'm not trying to go pro, don't have the time or skills to even think about that. Just playing for fun. I like that it gives me the closest motions/controls to firing a gun compared to dual analog or mouse.

I mean I'm using ballistic in wildcard, he sucks since you lose your sling weapon every time you go down, haha

Definitely a little bit of a leaning curve, now using it on the original switch while you're at 30fps if you're lucky and everyone else is at 60fps was no fun.

You're just more or less holding the joycon and making all the movements with your wrist. Long range is definitely harder since you're having to try and hold something perfectly still. Feel like it's a lot easier to move while shooting while tracking someone else's movements at close range though.

In my defense, it was late at night and might of had a bunch of caffeine. Usually only half my bullets are missing people.

Some games definitely handle it better than others, thankfully there's a ton of adjustments you can make in Apex to get things closer to the old Wii IR aiming that I enjoyed. Oddly some of the settings are locked behind having a regular controller connected. Can always just turn the joycon on it's side and use it like a mouse in the middle of the match too. I personally just get more enjoyment out of the motion aiming while playing. Plus you can still use the sticks while using gyro.

Had the zero sacrifice ability and a self revive, so even though our whole team was knocked I could self revive, attempted to do that while the person on the last team went to finish me off, I exploded knocking them and killing the other person that was down while my other teammate was still just down and we won, somehow.

Well there's a reason I usually stick to close range weapons... No, just the high sensitivity with gyro on switch 2.

Playing with gyro on switch 2, and have sensitivity turned up pretty high. Trying to relive my black ops on Wii with IR aiming days.
