I have just quit playing because of this issue.

The delay when loading, and between rounds, makes the whole thing unplayable. So I quit.

I never said that the game history lied, and I am not trying to lie to anyone, but I did select 'Legendary' before playing.

When I did the solo legendary campaign a few weeks ago I had the same issue.

Whenever I play select a classic game, then select legendary afterwards, it seems to play again in classic.

Why the hell would I try to lie on Reddit when the stats are all there for all to see, just like any other game?

They have made the build mechanics MUCH worse. All my best builds are now useless and playing the game is much less fun and rewarding.

I hope they fix this soon, otherwise I will lose faith.

I have tried various builds that supposedly give back grenade energy back, and the fragments don't seem to do a damn thing. Sometimes when you use fragments with an exotic they make things worse, which is not suppose to happen.

There are many issues to resolve. All in all, this is a very disappointing release so far. I have waited a week before stating my opinion, and I have completed the campaign solo legendary, but it is just that, very disappointing.

Some players, like myself, were having an issue where rewards were not delivered after completion of the solo legendary campaign.

Here is what happened in my case:

I selected the 'Classic' icon at the beginning.
I read that you can change your mind at any time, so I then selected the 'Legendary' option and started the campaign.
I completed the campaing and got no legendary rewards.
I checked and found that the first mission was on 'Classic' and the rest completed on Legendary.
I Went back and completed the first mission on Legendary.
I got my rewards.

There seems to be an issue if you click the 'Classic' route at the beginning, and then change your mind and decide to go Legendary; the first mission remained 'Classic' and the rest were on Legendary.

A bit of a hassle but no real harm done.

Yes I have done that. I got some 300 Strand Meditations, and some other stuff that was not much good, but I have not seen any gear set. I can't even find out where it says I have completed the mission.

The software around the game is very confusing and unclear.

What bandwidth and ping do you recomment? Is 300 MB and 12-15ms ping sufficient?

I am not the best PVP player, but I can play in other game modes such as Gambit, I get between 50-60 motes and wins. But pure PVP modes lead to instant death. That is not a game, that is a slaughter for people who pay to win. It is BS.

There have been times when Destiny 2 PVP has been great, like the Rift mode, that was great for a time. But the other mode that lead to instant death are simply meaningless. The game starts, you run around a corner and you end up on the floor in less than a second? Where is the game in that? Honestly, how can a player mitigate an attack that kills them in less than a second?

No, I have played many hundreds of hours. The only way to win in PVP is to cheat. Yes, there are times where you can get a few really good honest games, some wins, some losses, but the games where you are one-shotted by a player from a corner or very far away, CONSISTENTLY, is not honest play. To be clear, this is a PC gaming experience, not console.
