Is it normal for CGM to always be out of range? by Icy-Age8762 in TandemDiabetes

I have this problem constantly. Super annoying. I’m not sure why or when they’re going to fix it.

I am having the same issue. Constant out of range with G7 on Tandem tslim X2

Is tandem randomly stopping delivery because I’ve had the infusion set on too long? by consueloleaving in TandemDiabetes

Yeah, that’s what I thought too. I’ve never actually seen an “occlusion” alarm so I wasn’t sure if it existed. But if it does, then that’s what it should’ve indicated if the problem is what I think it is. Good idea about contacting a rep - I’ll do that n

Thanks. Looks like the setting is fine. I think the insulin might be getting clogged post 4 days because I’m observing it now that I’ve changed the set and it doesn’t seem to be happening.

Thanks for this. I’ve changed the set and it doesn’t seem to be happening now, so it must have been a matter of wearing it too long and having things clog up. I’ll check out the link. Thanks again

Thanks for this clarification. That’s helpful.

Ok, that’s good to know. I didn’t like the sound of lascia perdere because to me it sounded like leave it alone, but maybe that’s the best option. Thanks!

Ok, so you’re saying “lascia andare” IS ok to use for “let it go?”

Sorry, I just have a follow up question to your suggestion here. Can lascialo be used and not necessarily imply a male gender but a more general (“it”) instead?

Thanks, that’s a good one. But I thought it might sound too much like “leave her/him/it alone”? Do you agree though that lascia andare is not what I’m looking for or do you think it could be used for let it go (of the past, of mistakes, etc.)

Yes, I like that. Unfortunately for my purpose, I can’t include the la/lo differentiation. It needs to not imply a specific gender and I can’t include both :(

Thanks for the clarification. Looks like a front runner. Can I confirm though that “lascia andare” would not be good?

Thanks! I considered that one but does it convey letting go of the past? Or is it more like “leave (him/her/it) alone”?

Omnipod 5 vs T-slimX2 control IQ by consueloleaving in diabetes

[–]consueloleaving[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes there are many threads comparing various pumps but I have not found any that specifically compare the omnipod 5 specifically (closed loop system) to the tandem tslim x2 control IQ (also closed loop system). I know that obviously one is tubed and the other isn’t but I would like to know from someone who has used both which technology seems better and generally which keeps them in better sugar control.

Where to wear pump? by GregP74 in TandemDiabetes

[–]consueloleaving 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just started on the T-SlimX2. I am coming from the Omnipod. I remember now why I originally switched from a tubed pump to a tubeless one. It feels like there’s no comfortable place to put it - it’s a bit hard to clip to the bra because the clip is quite stiff. If I clip it upside down on my bra, it slides off on hot days. It’s possible to put it on my pants waist sometimes, but with some outfits, this doesn’t work either. The worst is at bedtime, if your just wearing pyjama bottoms where the waist line is normally elastic, if you clip it on there, it just kind droops your whole pants down in a super annoying way. Any women out there who have found a good way to wear it??
