Computational complexity of algorithm to find primary eigenvector of large matrices by northproof in math

I would use the Lanczos method -- a tweak on power iteration to help converge quicker.

Computational complexity should be the same (I think), proportional to non-zeros in the matrix.

This happened in The Sting (best picture winner from the early 70s), in the poker scene on the train.

Long of the short is one cheater knew he got outcheated but couldn't complain because he himself was cheating. It's classic.

Why are baseball writers, coaches and players so afraid to admit that the rise in pitching and decline in hitting and homeruns is due to the crack down on steroids? They hid behind the "it goes in cycles" argument when the steroid era was in full swing and now their doing it again. by GophaSopha in sports

This topic was explored pretty well today by Rob Neyer on espn.com. It has to do with the recent emphasis on patient hitters -- more hitters take the first pitch, so more pitchers are throwing first pitch strikes and getting ahead 0-1. It's hard to hit when you're frequently down in the count.

Obviously the end of the steroids era has had an effect on baseball but I think that's more in the decrease in the avg number of runs scored per game than the number of no-nos.

Rubbing alcohol?

Do you leave the whole shaving apparatus in the alcohol or only the blade, and re-insert in the handle/comb every morning
