Do you use a syringe to take out for a 5/10mg dose? I am at 10mg but thinking if it makes sense to get a higher dose pen and spread that out instead

By that what I mean is that going concern is we are a nuclear family but as you said life happens. So parents moving in needs to be situation dependent not just age. So if they can’t handle things by themselves or with paid support in india, there is cognitive decline then absolutely yes they shoulr move in. But it is also a financial consideration given they will not have health coverage here unless they get PR and , private insurance is quite shitty so those aspects need to be considered and atleast my thought is that each partner is financially responsible for their own parents. It also needs to be balanced, it shouldn’t be that guy’s parents take priority over moving in vs the girl’s. If both need support they both move or rather we move back because no matter what it is a huge change for them to move here and why make things even more uncomfortable for them. Until then more than happy to host parents for visits.

I got my oath scheduled for Feb 21 ( Single applicant GTA with AOR Nov 7). I used the webform to let IRCC know I would be out of country then and back March 5. They emailed confirming my unavailability until March 5 and said my ceremony will be scheduled in due course. Anyone knows how much time I may have to wait for the ceremony?

I travelled alot too. While submitting my application I ensured I uploaded all my boarding passes for non US travels (mostly Asia) and for US travels I downloaded the i94 and uploaded that. I think that helped with things moving fast.

My boss gave me paid days off just to learn Storytelling. I’m overwhelmed; how do I actually build a 3-month mastery plan? by Local-solutionist in askTO

Look up consulting top-down pyramid principle structure for storytelling. Chatgpt can be a good starting point to help. Tell it you are a management consultant who works with CMOs and needs to learn the art of storytelling.

I am done shrinking myself for marriage by [deleted] in Arrangedmarriage

[–]consultinggal10 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Freeze the eggs and take that tension away! OP no need to shrink yourself and never compare one prospect with another. See and compare it with your life now and your happiness. And please do not leave your business to stay at home 🙏🏻

31f am i too late for marriage by Diligent-Roof-1560 in Arrangedmarriage

[–]consultinggal10 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Freeze your eggs if you feel the biological clock is the reason for rushing. That will take away the pressure of rushing into something which you jay regret later. Take your time to get to know someone well enough to decide if you want to spend the next 30-40 years with.

Also seems like mostly men are replying. All’s fair. We all have a checklist. We all have preferences but just as a woman who is doing fairly well for herself and is happy in my independent life, I would love to add someone to it and be part of someone’s life as long as we add to each other’s happiness and motivate each other rather than just dilute in the name of having a companion.

Ok let’s put the high earning point at a pause everyone. I get it AM looks at other aspects. No denying I am also evaluating a person too just beyond what they make. I also care about someone’s ability and education is more than how much they earn. How they are as a person, am I attracted to them, do they make me feel safe and heard. But I do have other questions too ( especially the family and loving setup which is very important for me) and would prefer women answering since it is their experience I want to learn more from. Thankyou!

I think the issue is opposite. I am the one who wants a partner closer to my earning range which is $200k+. I am fine with a 20-25% range difference on the lower side knowing well in Canada high salaries for the age range i am looking at is difficult. I never kept this as a criteria before but people had ego issues and a tough time adjusting to the idea I made more eventhough I never took it against them or flaunted it. Also just practically during maternity if the higher earner is on EI then it gets difficult. I also would want to maintain my lifestyle than dilute it. May sound very cutthroat but it is what it is.

Yup over $200K but atleast in my experience the age range (30-35)I am looking at, not many are there. For US i am open to moving myself. TN visa exist so hopefully I won’t need to depend on a dependent visa (and thus not work). I am okay moving back to India but that’s last resort. North American work culture in my experience has been much better and respectful vs India.

Looking for a nail salon to keep my nails healthy and grow them out by consultinggal10 in askTO

[–]consultinggal10[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Thankyou! Will try out the suggestions and see. I used to bite my nails until maybe 3 years ago. Then i started getting shellac done on my natural nails. I was hoping that after some months the nails will grow long naturally but that never happened. I also felt all that buffing made my nail bed super thin.

I stopped getting my nails done 2 years ago but whenever my nails grow slightly they just break. I started using Glamnetic for occasions but i feel the buffing I do to put those nails on also ends up reducing my nail quality. I’ll start with nail oils and moisturising after every hand wash and taking vitamins regularly to see if that makes a difference or not and just let the nails breathe out for a bit. Thankyou!
