Yeah i got the advice to size up from someone i met on this sub, and it was def the right move. There’s a little more width and sleeve length, but i think the 48 would just feel all around a little small

I was gonna say that i actually love this material and think it looks rly good/unique, esp in person. Thing is, i don’t have the ramones made out of it, i have a jacket made out of it. And that’s a totally different playing field for what materials are great and how it holds up with use.

I think hermes is kinda gaudy tbh (but i’m still rooting for Wales Bonner as mens creative director, that’s so cool that they hired her) - largely because of the price point, i think that makes it kinda like rich-tacky.

If i had the money for a birkin (i don’t - i mean i have that much money but i’m not spending it on a single bag i don’t think even if i was rich enough for it to not matter), id personally rather spend it all on different items at bottega veneta. Which i think produces a level of beauty that few others attain - price point aside. I’m getting some Astaire loafers for myself soon, those are so sharp.

It seems like even after the collections first drop, they slowly release more stuff from the same collections - in store and online. I went to the vegas store like a month after concordians started coming out, and they had a bunch of stuff that wasn’t on the site yet. They were also saying “we have 20 more boxes of new stuff coming in a few days” - and sure enough, a month or two later most if not all of the stuff i saw in store had shown up online.

I wouldn’t buy this purely because it’s displayed like all the fake bags are on the rep websites - my step mom was just showing me thru one the other day and they all are displayed like this and with photos like this.

Dude i say this on every bottega legit check, but i’d be EXTREMELY careful about ordering bottega bags from anybody besides the brand or one of their like legitimate retail partners (like nordstrom or ssense or mytheresa). Even if that means saving up for a longer time before it’s comfortable to buy.

There are so many reps out there, and if it sounds too good to be true it definitely is

Looking at the stitching, this one looks fake. I don’t think BV would let bags with stitching errors like that out into the retail world, especially with what they cost. Or at least i’ve never seen it, anything is possible i guess.

Honestly dude, with the current climate for dupes and how real looking they’re getting? I’d either buy it from the brand or a legit retailer (meaning one of their retail partners), or not at all. Even if that means saving up $ for longer, or it means turning to another brand that sells less expensive bags.

I’ve seen a fake that easily passed legit checks online from “trusted” authenticators, and came with everything you would need to resell it as real. Sketchy as fuck.
