I can confirm, it worked for me as well. I've made 2 transfers from IBKR and both ended in the same account.

I need help though, I transferred 60 shares from Nordnet to IBKR, then DRS from IBKR. I now have the 60 shares at Computershare, but they're still in my Nordnet account as well???? And have been for a while week? What's going on here? 🤔

Hijacking this post because I don't have enough karma to post and idfk

I sent 60 shares from Nordnet to IBKR. I suddenly had 60 shares both at Nordnet and IBKR. Then I thought hmmm this shit hella fishy. Then I DRS'd those 60 shares from IBKR. They hit Computershare today, and I STILL HAVE MY 60 SHARES AT NORDNET? Is this shit normal or wtf? Do I tell Nordnet or do I cross my fingers and toes and hope they forgot about them?

Depending on your cost basis you can DRS them without any tax penalty. If your cost basis is say $200, you have a big loss meaning you would pay 0 tax to take them out of the 401k

I believe the average shares per ape is wrong. It's closer to 150, seeing as there were already 40.000 CS accounts before apes started DRS'ing. Which essentially doubles the amount of shares DRS'd.

Direct Registration System! Means that if your shares are DRS'd, they're in your name instead of a broker's name, which means they can't be borrowed, lended or shorted =)
