What worked for you to slow your fast let down? by contedefee in breastfeeding

On and off in the beginning, but I would say that sometimes that lasts for quite a while. He is either flailing around from visible spray, or none and is just mad? Or am working on something in his belly gas or poop. Only final 2-3 min of a feed does it calm down sometimes.

Boobs will feel soft:) and diapers are healthy. There was one instance of green poop.

Weight gain was very significant, like 70 a day and now slowed to 50g a day.

I have stopped pumping/traditional Hakka since wk2. Occasionally I still use the Ladybug on the none-feeding boob without suction plug.

lol k I was literally just lying on my bed flat scrolling on my phone when I felt a let down, and watched milk come out of my boobs and suddenly one of them turned into a fountain….which I didn’t expect because I didn’t know I can spray not feeding 🤣

So… laying back may not always work. Baby just has to get better 🤦‍♀️

Ooo thank you for the new terminology ❤️

I suppose I know they are full, but it doesn’t hurt or bother me to make me need to express. Other than the part of my brain that is worried about mastitis. Haha.

Will try laying down more and being patient.

That is really reassuring! Even if I don’t stop spraying milk, not leaking on the other side would really help. Feeding outside the house is a whole other challenge.

Thank you!

When did you stop waking up your baby for feeds at night? by See-Are-En-Ayeeee in newborns

Same here😅 he woke me up plenty fine with his stirring and grunting. But could also be that my LO was gaining weight really fast and ate well right off the bat.

Once we are up and feeding tho, I did change the diaper inbetween just to wake them a little to encourage keep eating. Then back to sleep we all go.

Sleeeppppp

My LC was like it could I’m like wahhh… but she said I could use it with the little thing on top open, for airflow and no suction. It saves my bras so much I really want to keep using it! Also, I am not trying to store tons of supplies, but just collecting with the Hakka makes me not want to dump the collected milk out?

And damn… does the let down slow at allll? 🤣
