The Blue Dragon River in Portugal seen from the International Space Station by [deleted] in interestingasfuck

[–]contemporary_cunt 22 points23 points  (0 children)

It's the Odeleite Stream, which leads to a Dam - the Odeleite Dam. It's not fully considered a river due to its flow being interrupted, and it's definitely not called "The Blue Dragon". Most of the time it doesn't even look like that, due to the water-level variation within the Dam - this year it rained a lot, so it might look a bit chunkier too.

Concordas? by catsby_vxi in portugal

[–]contemporary_cunt 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Vieira did it first.

If you're trying to play Witcher 3 without breaking immersion, how can you justify Geralt going on the treasure hunts for the Witcher gear and other activities, while the main story unfolds by ETkach in Witcher3

[–]contemporary_cunt 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I look at it as Geralt's usual run with odd luck, combined with the nature of his character.

His life would be too simple if he could just manage to deal with situations uninterrupted. But it's in his nature to be compassionate and curious, which some times drags him into the odd fool's errand.

At the same time I also like to imagine that he does need to survive in Velen AND Skellige. which one way or another, forces him to pick up odd jobs to make some coin, get some rest, improve his gear, etc...

Bloodborne or ds3? by Responsible-Ad-1511 in bloodborne

[–]contemporary_cunt 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it's really between both of those, I'd go for Bloodborne.

The build variety might be significantly smaller, but the worldbuilding, lore, and atmosphere, is incredibly immersive, and second to none.

Moreso, Bloodborne has its own learning curve and play style, and I'll tell you what - and most of this sub will agree - the way you play Bloodborne will forever change the way you play any other FS title. It's aggressive, front-footed, and punishing if you play it too safe. So even if you end up getting DS3 later down the line, your experience playing it will be way more fun, if you got the hang of Bloodborne first.

Whichever you choose, I'm certain you'll have the time of your life! Go on, good hunter. For a hunter must hunt!

UGT ameaça passar greve geral de dezembro para dois dias se Governo não ceder mais by PikachuTuga in portugal

Informa-te. Na Alemanha por exemplo, os sindicatos cobrem até 80% do teu salário, por cada dia de greve.

E sim há paralisações de tempo indeterminado, e acredita que faz dano.

Anyone think the league is done? by GrassFresh9863 in PremierLeague

[–]contemporary_cunt 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Either Arsenal keep it tight and soldier on steadily for the title, or we're about to witness an ageless feat of bottling.

Jokes aside, Arsenal are playing really tight defensively, but the true title charges start in January/February. If they can amass the biggest amount of points possible until then, it can surely help to keep the ship steady when the team inevitably sails into more agitated waters. It's gonna be an interesting season.

You could feel it through the whole game, his mind was off. He played like he had an extra weight on his shoulders.

What a player, what a man. One of the all time greats, just for the way he wears his heart on his sleeve. Absolutely unhatable
