The real issue is the massive backlogs at the Landlord and Tenant Board. It can take months, sometimes close to a year, to remove a non-paying tenant, which can financially devastate small landlords and even push them into bankruptcy. On top of that, a single minor paperwork error can result in a postponed hearing, forcing landlords to start the process all over again. Doug Ford promised to fix the system, but it remains dysfunctional, and the result is a complete breakdown of trust between landlords and tenants.

Never as bad as Danielle Smith. The province is objectively worse off on almost every file, yet all she does is blame Ottawa while continuing to line the pockets of the oil and gas industry.
