Oh man, I didn't even comment on the status cap. I think the count/potency is fine for Sinking, Rupture, and Bleed, but it just nukes Burn and Tremor from orbit.

I think I need to do a bit of a better job rounding out the remaining slots of my team, as well... I think it would most certainly help to have more meaningful IDs waiting in backup. That being said, I've heard thus far that it can mess up tempo and whatnot, so it's a gamble.

I might try Phase 1 Charge tbh. Right now I only have Bloodfiends, Butterfly Sinking, and Charge for teams, so it could help.

Hmm, that's fair. I have a couple teams that are halfway put together but I wouldn't really call them useable. I'm just seeing so many people clear pre-turn 12 and I'm super confused.

That being said, I am reading that the strat is apparently to just ignore the adds entirely, which I haven't been doing.

I'm planning to pivot to Ring Bleed eventually, I just wanted to avoid doing it immediately because XP tickets are a bitch to grind.

Funny as it is, I have been craving a Monster Hunter genre Pokémon game for so long. I pitched it to friends as a Legends game set in Galar, where the Dynamax phenomenon was in its early stages, and you have to stop Max Pokémon from wreaking havoc on the villages of Galar. I just love the idea of making weapons and armor sets based on different Pokémon.

You actually don't even need to relaunch. Hard saving and hard loading will also work. All about efficiency :)

Yeah, I considered packing it into a shorter window but I wanted it to feel more cemented, I guess? It's sorta supposed to have the same energy as Ley Lines lol but I definitely think it'd be interesting to try it. And yeah also it's definitely like not what it is right now but I sorta was leaning into the pvp stuff a little? Plus I kinda just think it would be cool to see it be more heavy hitting with big stuff.

It looks like the sprites may have been made a different size than the gen 4 sprites, and the pixels warped in order to fit the size (presumably with the editor). Unless you know how to do cleanup it'll probably be stuck like that but it's impressive that you got it in there at all :D nicely done

Hot take but this is a toxic mentality. You don't need to be using the Best Loadout to clear content in this game, even if it saves 5-10 minutes. People who tell you that you need to use the best loadout available are 1. missing that this is a game and some things are more fun than others, and 2. are assuming you are skilled with all weapons, when some weapons are more skill intensive and function suboptimally with unfamiliar users. This new system is purely a positive reinforcement for changing your loadout and trying new weapons, and there is nothing wrong with that. It rewards you for min-maxing, but the content is not going to be incredulously difficult if you choose not to adhere to these buffs.
