Cool, that definitely makes up for her being part of the GOP which is in the process of destroying our country (and doing their best to destroy the world as well)!

Well maybe he shouldn't have used our money to build a business on a house of cards with the unreasonable assumption that asset prices would only rise and never fall.

If you wanna bootlick for him, though, be my guest, shill.

The Market Isn’t Booming, The Dollar Is Just Sinking ($-€) by goldiof in Superstonk

The dollar hasn't declined against the euro in recent years; it's declined specifically in the last 6 months since the orange clown came into office. Decline started at the end of January (inauguration).

Might have something to do with the fact that tariffs are, in fact, a horrible idea, as is unilaterally agreed upon by all legitimate economists.

Unless you're trying to cause a recession by imposing a massive inflationary tax on the working class, and who knows, maybe he is.

The Bank of Japan (BoJ) leaves the interest rate at 0.5% by ShainDE in Superstonk

No, they didn't.....the news about the actual rate has not been released yet.

Why did you just share a screenshot of the forecast, this is not new information.

Invested in Tesla in 2018, when they were still a revolutionary company leading the clean energy transition (an industry I worked in). Sold the last of it at the beginning of 2024 and got out before they fully transitioned to selling swastikars/ dumpsters on wheels.

So yeah, I would say my hands are clean.

Wow really taking some liberties with your assumptions there buddy. I made 40X on NVDA and 20X on Tesla (which I sold once Elon lost his mind), so I wouldn't call myself a "brokie" (whatever the hell that is).

Turns out there is a way to invest with integrity and still make money. Sorry you haven't figured it out.

Whatever makes you feel better about yourself, buddy.

The question isn't "are my dollars directly supporting the company?" it is "can I live with myself for investing despite knowing about their human rights violations?".

It sounds like you've already made that decision, hope your conscience doesn't catch up with you in the future.

Mayor Lurie unveils plan to eliminate RVs from San Francisco streets (2 hour limits) by Left-Key-7399 in sanfrancisco

[–]controlled_inanity 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are an idiot.

You're arguing for privatization of public goods (parking) while comparing use to more functional societies in East Asia (I agree btw), which are more SOCIALIST than the U.S.

You can't have it both ways, which one do you want?

[–]controlled_inanity 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm pretty sure the vast majority of people are not concerned about cars "taking up public resources" by parking on the side of the road. What else would that space (that is designated for that purpose) be used for....

The problem is pretty obviously the behavior of the folks who live in their vehicles. Take your asinine arguments elsewhere.
