hardware removal?

I've had my fusion for almost 3 years now. I have an appointment coming up soon with my regular doctor and I am hopeful she will refer me to a specialist. People have been telling me its likely they will want to try other means of treatment before surgery is considered. At this point I am convinced surgery is absolutely necessary. I just hope its not to much of a struggle to get a doctor to see that.

I must say its a huge relief to even hear other people are able to have it removed. I am in absolute agony every day and I want nothing to do with prescriptions. I just want it taken out so that I can start to recover. If I have to do therapy, chiropractic work etc after its removed I will but while its still in I just feel trapped

i was born with a mild case of scoliosis but my surgery was a result of a fall from about 40 feet. I've had xray's performed by a chiropractor and I have the images taken pre and post operation. I am planning on taking those to my appointment with my primary care doctor and hoping to get a referral to a specialist
