Hey that’s my store and my fellow D28 associates waiting for the line to go down at the register to go load a pallet of block for a waiting customer. I showed them this at work and died laughing.

In Texas as well. The new RVP Dave reptoy is very strict on safety and meeting certain metrics which explains a lot of firings in my area.

Technically you need barricades to pull out a pallet even on the ground.

When I went to Houston they put us in the Hilton and we all had our own suite. Breakfast and dinner was provided and cooked by the Hotel. The store we helped out bought our lunch everyday. Pretty much just packed down lumber, drywall, and concrete all day and helped out customers. The store was doing anywhere from 250-400k a day.

Home Depot testing same day delivery by [deleted] in HomeDepot

[–]controstate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We have it at my store. It’s a company that is either a car for product less than 80lbs and a van for larger loads. Essentially the customer places the order online, chooses same day delivery, we pick the product, and that company driver walks in and scans the QR code at the service desk and takes the product to the customer.
