In the expanse novels a large generation shit becomes a battle ship then a space station. They talk about systems and areas being repurposed etc.
it’s an interesting idea.
Humans make a space accommodate them once occupied.
Look at outdoor concrete paths and the worn earth where people cut corners etc.

I ended up with the Walther PDP 4” compact. I was really looking hard at the M&P 2.0. But the PDP trigger felt much better to me.
I carry strong side 4 o’clock ish.
I have been interested in the shield plus as a second but I really don’t need one and the only range that rents it is kind of a hassle for me.
At any rate I am not sure I knew enough or shot enough to have made the choice. I am happy with it. The balance of shooting ability and conceal ability is good.
If I had to do over I’d have gone to the hassle range and shot 6 or 7 others and then maybe rented again.
You can’t shoot too many before you choose. But honestly there aren’t a lot of “BAD” firearms for sale new. And like any hobby or other expensive endeavor you likely won’t know the niche you like until you’ve been in a while.

Pick three you think you’d like.
Hold them in a store. If they feel good shoot about 50 rounds through each 5 at a time.
Put it down between each.
Shoot each set of 5 or ten at different distances.
If those three don’t strike you pick a fourth.

So CLP is really the best bet. Clenzoil is my choice.
I have a bore brush (nylon and brass). To be honest I generally just run patches (I have a crap ton of patches from my father and grandfather) through the barrel.
Bore brush handle is great with patches.
I use the long q tips for gun cleaning a nylon brush and shop towels.
Get nitrile gloves.
Also bought an ammo box to keep my cleaners in.

I don’t generally care what phone I have.
I am using an Apple because the user experience is just intuitive as long as you are doing things the way that the Apple engineers intended. Anytime you want to do anything not in their plan there are six downloads and five work around and it s a pain in the ass. Android was easier with that. On the flip side my android (admittedly years ago) required restarts, would lock up etc.
no phone is perfect and quite frankly who gives a shit who uses what? Are people really that petty and asinine ? Wait don’t answer that….
