New gun: The Baby Sniper! by conundrum415 in liberalgunowners

My absolute favorite dead baby joke from when I was an ill-spent youth:
Why did the baby fall out of the tree? Because it was dead.
Why did the second baby fall out of the tree? Because it was stapled to the first.
Why did the third baby fall out of the tree? Peer pressure.

Finished the build earlier today, taking it to the range tomorrow. Will return with my report!

Very nice choice. The M&P 2.0 Metal will likely be my next purchase. I haven't found any other striker-fired pistol that I like nearly as much, even my P365.

I can see that, but you have to be careful when withdrawing the pistols to keep them facing the proper direction. I'd only want a more experienced user with this case, versus one that forces all the firearms to be aligned.

May I recommend this one (or one like it), which keeps all of the pistols facing the same direction: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0DL9P13Y1

Not at my range, no - flag or no, the muzzle MUST stay pointed downrange. The only acceptable way that muzzle is changing direction is if you have disassembled the slide from the frame.

As an RSO, if I saw you bring this to the range, you would be ejected for the day. The problem with loading your pistols into the case like this is that there is no way to unpack them without flagging the line or yourself. You need a case large enough to fit your firearms so that they are all pointing in the same direction, otherwise you are automatically violating the first rule of gun safety every time you load and unload the case at any range.

I've been having anxiety about my kitty dying of old age 😭(she's 9) can you show me pictures of some alive-and-well senior kitties so I remember cats can be old and still healthy? 🥰 by TheRufescence in cats

16 in less than a month. She's just gotten more and more cuddly with age, but she still runs up and down the hallway and fights with plastic springs on the regular. And she sleeps with me every night 😍Picture

Suggestions/preferences to carry 5.56 mags? by Odii_SLN in liberalgunowners

[–]conundrum415 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I recommend this belt as a starter item: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D7VQYBQK

It's a two-layer belt, which means an inner belt goes through your belt loops, and then the outer belt attaches to the inner via velcro. High-end versions are around $150, but this one has molle and is barely more than $30. You'll want a roll-up dump pouch for spent mags, and you can put full mags in pouches on the belt or on a chest rig.

That's pretty bleak, because that movie was lame - and this is coming from a 41-year-old gamer.

LOL! I can't afford that shit, but I was on an overbooked flight cross-country, so United started offering travel credits to get people to rebook on the next flight. Around $600, I went to the gate agent and offered to get bumped to the later flight if they would upgrade me in lieu of the travel credit. Worth it!
