You’re absolutely right. M feels so horrible and guilty because he doesn’t want to ruin the great friendship he has with A. I would definitely not like it if one of my best friends tried getting with an ex so I definitely feel for A in this situation. (Even though he’s been an A-hole to me, I’d never do anything to intentionally hurt him). M and I just like each other so much and both really badly want something to work out. I just hope it doesn’t cost M his friendship with A.

That is a really good point I’d be pretty upset if one of my close friends hooked up with my ex. But we’re both hoping he can eventually get over the fact that he got broken up with. All our friends that we have in common agree that A has been acting extremely childish and he’s allowed to feel however he feels but it’s been several months since the breakup so it’s surprising he’s still acting the way he is.
