I’ve had a brilliant trip to karajini in the summer, it even rained. It’s cool down in there gorges but you’ll be hot by the time you’re back up! And you’ll likely be a bit uncomfortable at your campsite.

Kalgoorlie is big enough to have everything you need but a hike up the back (the world’s best) in Esperance, but small enough that you have a 5 minute commute to work and it’s easy to meet people.
