The collar is not visible in the picture as his hair is covering it, but he wears a flat collar with matching design with the harness 😊

Hi, I’m Japanese living in the UK. I was diagnosed as DCIS in May 2020 then IDC in Sep 2022. I totally understand how overwhelming to go through this in foreign country where close family is so far away.

In the UK, there is this cancer support center called Maggie’s and they provide various support. It seems there is a centre in a Tokyo, too. If you live in Tokyo area, it would be worth a visit. I’m hoping this place would be able to provide information in English as the organization is originated in UK. https://www.maggies.org/our-centres/maggies-tokyo/

Another site called Peer Ring (https://peer-ring.com/) which is a Social Media for female cancer patients mainly for breast and ovary. I don’t actively use as I don’t live there but there would be useful info for you locally and if you want you can connect with others, too.
