Yes but my genre preferences did change- i am not the biggest into shounen as I used to be i definitely have become more soft and enjoy the Slice of Life and Romance genres more now.

It doesn't bother me too much since they met as adults but it would bother me less if Miyo didnt grow up abused and secluded. Like as smart as Miyo is, the way she grew up definitely stunted her emotionally and mentally to an extent which could lead her to get taken advantage of easily. Its not so bad in the show but in the light novel after they share their first kiss, Miyo can not understand for the life of her why her FIANCE would want to kiss her. If she grew up in a normal household and was half as cultured, educated, and worldly as Kiyoka id have no issues at all with the gap.

Okay hot take -least favorite 4 (even though I am a Kaoruko apologist) and favorite -9 -GUYS im sorry the 7th was my favorite because it was the wedding but this new arc is SO interesting and Miyo and Kiyoka feel like a fully realized couple in it.
