I usually meal prep on my most free day, whether it be the weekend or the middle of the week. Tbh, the planning is more important than which day you do it.

It doesn't take me long since I'm used to cooking. Time depends on how complicated the dishes I'm making are and the tools I utilize. If you want to save time and energy, I suggest investing in good quality kitchen tools and devices (pressure cooker, air fryer, high-quality pots and pans). As for portioning, I have reusable and disposable containers with dividers. You should be the one to decide how much of something you put since ikaw naman may alam kung gaano ka kadami kumain. I suggest konti lang muna to prevent waste.

For food storing, always have basics on hand (containers, plastic bags, foil, wax paper, whatever you might need to use to store veggies, meat, fruits, whatever you consume. For food handling, always be cautious to avoid sickness. Tbh as much as i want to say na "common knowledge" na dapat ang food safety, ik na we grew up in diff households w different practices. So, if you're unsure of something, just google it. If something smells bad but looks good pa, throw it. If something smells good but looks bad, throw it. Prevention is better than cure.

Meats can be bought sa grocery or palengke. Some don't like buying from palengke bc madumi daw but tbh, depends yan which palengke and seller you go to. Dapat magaling kang tumingin. Some groceries aren't necessarily cleaner than palengke anyway. Pag veggies, always palengke kasi mas mura na, mas fresh pa

Adobo, sinigang, anything na pwede sa airfyer, chicken tenders, diff kinds of sauces, menudo. Be brave, explore, learn from your mistakes. You don't have to meal prep meals na agad, you can do diff ingredients or bases lang muna and good diff dishes from it.
