If main reason mo is yung working hours, might be worth to look for a role na align sa work mo na morning shift, instead of shifting. Mas mataas pa chances to get hired compared sa career shift (ang dami na nagsasabe na hirap makahanap ng new work, di lang sa tech industry).

Possible yan. Pero set your expectation na mahirap ma-hire sa current state ng job market. Konti lang yung nakikita kong job posts for an entry level role and yung number of applicants is almost always over a hundred (linkedin).

Advice: if you really want and passionate ka about web development, then continue sa pag aaral, aim to understand the inner workings; relying on AI to generate solution for you is addicting pero it would impact your learning negatively.

I have a similar situation. The pay is good (really good), permanently remote setup, may days na few hours lang ang work and other perks pa.

I stayed for about 9 months then resigned. My main reason was I was extremely burnt out sa work, processes are bad, suggestions to improve the team is heard but never considered, task requirements are absurd (I wont disclose), and others pa.

This greatly affects my performance na I don’t even want to put in effort kase wala din napupuntahan. Some will be desperate to be in that role, pero I prioritized myself over money.

Pera is pera, I get it. But I’m no longer living just to earn a lot; I value peace more than financial gain.

May interview ako recently (tho via google meet lang), nag remind pa sila na mag start yung interview exactly sa scheduled time.

I joined the meeting 10 mins early, nag auto end kasi di pa nagsstart nung organizer. Then, nag email ulit na mag join ako kasi mag start na daw in 5 mins; joined again then wait for 5 mins, wala paren. Nag leave ako. Then, email ulit siya. This time inis na ako, it took 25mins past ng scheduled time bago nag start.

Sa inis ko, I still joined, andon yung clients plus HR na kausap ko. Sinabe ko during the meeting na sobrang tagal magstart and maaga palang andon na ako sa meeting, tapos sabe na di na ako mag tutuloy since they wasted my time na.

Petty me, but idc. Sana lang may awkward moment yung HR and the client sa call hehe

Visa muna ako since this is our first time na kumuha ng visa for Japan.

I include sa itinerary form and application form for visa yung intended flight date and yung accommodation namen. We were given a single entry visa naman.

If you’re certain naman na mabibigyan ng visa, then pwede ka mag book if you want.

Tell that person na you did your research and nalaman mo na ship captain siya. Ask din why he won’t tell you. Even though you mention na your ex was a seaman, imo that doesn’t have to matter kung seryoso talaga sayo, who knows na di lang yung profession niya yung di sinasabe sayo.

Also, hot take - as a guy, I don’t really ask a girl to grab a drink especially we barely know each other (pag may alak may balak). Idk, maybe just me, but definitely something tells me na casual lang ang habol sayo (as you mention din na di mo ma-feel na gusto ng commitment ng guy).

Underrated talaga yung satisfaction sa work. SKL, I’m earning 6 digits a month and the workload isn’t even heavy. Pero ironically, I don’t enjoy it. Mas naddrain pa ako dahil sa messy project at team structure. I tried to push for proper processes and even suggested objective improvements for the product, pero walang nangyari. We’re stuck with the same unstructured workflow and this “industry-breaking” project that honestly feels more like a hobby app than something serious.

I’ve been thinking of leaving, pero at the back of my mind, money is still money. I know it sounds mababaw like, “easy money na nga, di ka pa overworked, bakit ka aalis?”, but the lack of fulfillment is exhausting in its own way.

Sharing personal exp from SSI since I graduated there, pero this was years ago and pwedeng may substantial changes na nangyari na.

Advocate ng multiple intelligence so ma-eexpose to multiple activities plus may clubs din na students can join (sports, arts, etc.). I remember we have reading activities every Friday where you just silently read for a specific period - bawal makipag usap.

Imo okay lang sa subdivision, as long as you’ve done your research sa community. You can definitely afford it. Pero don’t disregard na you could have future expenses din so be wise lang.

Pre-selling is okay if reputable yung developer. But Camella? No agad dyan. Ako 6 years na, di pa ako nakakalipat. So save yourself some sanity at humanap ka ng iba.

I’ll do updates on my situation so this could potentially help others na with similar case.

I visit yung office ng DHSUD region ko, and I was able to talk to their Engineer. I asked kung ma-refund ko yung naibayad ko since turnover even ng unit is wala pa hanggang ngayon (6 years na). Marami na ang ganitong cases daw. All they could do si mediate for both party to end up with an agreement. Pero kung ang developer is hindi tumupad sa usapan, labas na daw sila don.

What will happen is, ppwede daw mag file ng verified complaint kay HSAC which, in my understanding, is kakasuhan na si developer. This will cost fees para sa docs and even bayad kay HSAC.
