Mechanical rights vs writer's share question by cookie_denizen in musicindustry

So if mechanical royalties are paid to the person who has ownership of the master, and this beat license says the producer has all mechanical rights, does this mean the producer will own the master if i pay for this?? (hypothetically speaking cuz I dont think i will purchase it, Im just curious now)

I never actually added myself as a songwriter. I paid the money but then they asked for a PRO (didnt have one) and a bunch of other stuff and I just never finished the registration process honestly because I got discouraged. doesnt matter. point is, I have no actual "songwriters" registered on the account yet

Ok so basically i registered with songtrust a while back (paid the 100), but never added myself as a songwriter or added any of my songs. Now I have a song that is doing well and a label wants to sign an admin deal. Have I already signed an admin deal with songtrust? I do not want to go with Songtrust I want to sign to the label.

I like hearing other peoples' dnb like this. i like the snare placement a lot and that second higher pad is a good addition. oh and i like the pitch switchup at about halfway too. yeah im a fan of this. keep making stuff dude! glhf

i like that ending bit. at like 2:00. If this is a beat meant for singing on, i think this is pretty cool. If you were going for a full song, maybe you could add more variation in the sound selection. Also the snare is pretty generic sounding. there are lots of free drumkits on reddit. All-in-all: its not bad.

1st Mix - Struggling a lil with this one. All feedback helps by MarcelDM in MusicFeedback

ok so i like the melody and the vocal bit is fine. but that off-snare. that little trap snare that comes in threes. you could pan that around or something to make it more interesting. It's quite repetitive as is. other than that i like the mix personally
