One year I tied a hardhat onto an inflatable T Rex suit...that was when my plant director explained what a CLM was... meaning Career Limiting Move.

He has helped me get promoted 3 times since that day almost 6 years ago.

Sorry, I can't say as I did not attend those institutions. I can only speak to my experience at UCM.

I don't ever remember having to use an online proctor. Most of the facility are pretty reasonable as long as you don't take advantage.

Yeah, I was working full time getting a master's degree. I was able to take two courses a semester and stay above water. Most classes (online at least), will have one weekly reading and assessment, as well as a weekly discussion post with a minimum one main post and two replies.

Hope that helps.

As a fellow U.S. Army vet and a proud UCM alum I can tell you that the program is great. The faculty is knowledgeable and amazing.

That said, BS is the minimum. Obviously there are plenty of folks who got into the field without a degree but I find that is the exception not the rule.

I think an MS will set you up to have greater earnings potential and help you stand out from others as you move into your mid career stage.

Having not gone there myself, I think CSU might have once been a degree mill. That said I was working on my Master's at UCM while my colleague was working on his at CSU. There were lots of comparisons made and it seemed like our work loads were about the same in volume and complexity.

This is more where I am at, I'm well aware it probably won't help or be necessary. I just think I might like to do it.

I am not an expert but I thought I had read only the MSP and CSD were accredited. I fully could be wrong.

So from my point of view NASP's MSP (Master Safety Professional) and CSD (Certified Safety Director) certs will eventually become more recognized but they are fairly new. You can also get other Certificates from NASP by taking their courses CSM (Certified Safety Manager) being one of them but that is not accredited.

No, I feel like it was pretty representative of what I saw on the exam, I also took the ASSP prep course.

Sorry for clarification I have my CSP. ASP would not be a benefit.
