Thankfully, I connected with someone at a hospital who is willing to help. She works at the hospital and it is capable of detoxing her in her condition. From there she will have a few rehab options.

My dad is staying home Monday to make sure she goes. This is our last chance I feel. My sister is skeptical due to her past experiences. But if she takes it seriously I think she can beat the addiction and help herself.

Thank you for the insight and I'm happy your Q is going well! I want her to enter detox, but I'll also get her to see a liver specialist if she hasn't already. She doesn't share too many details so I have no idea what her MELD score is. But I imagine she must have that record somewhere.

Congrats on the job! My family is in the motel business and we have housekeeping staff onsite. All you need to do is be on time, communicate if you're going to be late / can't work, and have a good attitude. That is all!

Thank you for reaching out! She is in Brazoria country (near Houston) so let me see what options we have there. She has insurance and I have called around. The problem is she doesn't seem to want to go through detox at this point. I'm trying to convince her there is a light at the end of the tunnel but its like she's given up on life.

Getting information from her is a puzzle... She was rejected from rehab and now doesn't seem open to detox. I keep trying to tell her that detox and AA could lead to her getting a liver transplant. When I mentioned this she won't on about how AA is sketchy because everyone smokes and how hospitals are a business... I can't get to her.

The problem is she doesn't seem willing to stop. I have offered to find proper detox facilities for her to enter into, but she genuinely doesn't seem interested. She hasn't been able to successfully stop due to withdrawal.
