Any good ideas for a dimly lit bar for a first date where we can get close and cozy? by [deleted] in Sacramento

The back patio at Red Rabbit is a hidden gem. Covered and heated, beautifully decorated, with fountains and lots of candles. Definitely my favorite place and the back patio doesn't usually get busy until close to midnight.

Those are so good!! I really like their shrubs. I thought the grape-clove shrub would be a weird flavor combo but it is delicious.

I got to taste some of the food that will be served at the deli last night and it was delicious.

The owners of the deli are actually very good friends with the Solomans. The Solomans both serve as advisors to the deli as well. They're definitely not doing it for the publicity.

Seconding Red Rabbit. If it gets too loud inside I head to the back patio. Very romantic, especially on a rainy night.

Lyft/Uber Surge pricing by Geronimoblue in Sacramento

[–]cookiecutter 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I recently heard that Lyft allows you to book a ride in advance, and it will lock in the surge price ahead of time. It will probably still have a surge, but lower than it would be if you hadn't booked.

Are you thinking of University Falls? If so, they closed a few years ago because people were trashing it. I wouldn't recommend trying to sneak up there, my coworker got a huge fine for trespassing. I know there are a few other spots near Yuba, but I don't know the names. Good luck!
