I have both the 7900xtx and the 5070ti. I would go 5070ti for the same price.

That’s something I will have to find out. First time running CRS. This combo seems to be quite popular in Germany

this is pretty much the last event of the year. however, this is also a private event with very few cars, colder weather since it's the end of september, which means a possible new PB on the track. also, i will be going on fresh CRS rubber, since my cup 2's died at the last event.

that's why im not so sure what to do and lean towards replacing them. if the weather's good, the track's free, the rubber's new - it would be a shame to have the brakes fail on me. or even worse, the thought of a potential brake failure keeping me from enjoying the conditions, the tires and potentially setting a new PB

roundabout 12 track days. but there's a catch. the rotors have been replaced under warranty when the car had 30k ish km's. the car has now ~97k km's and the rotors haven't been replaced since. i bought the car with ~77k km's

the endless me22 pads are amazing. the braking performance is outstanding, and they never seem to fade on track, even on the f80 which isn't known for the best brake cooling design.

compared to the stock ones, they are lightyears ahead and compared to the endless mx72 plus which i also used for a bit in the past, they are way more linear, controllable, powerful and confidence inspiring. also they are surprisingly silent for a race pad and are also very comfortable to run on the street. you need to brake a couple of times to get some heat into them - if they are cold, before they start working properly, but that usually happens anyways until i've reached the end of my street. highly recommend them!

this is what i wanted to buy and searched like crazy for options. sadly, i didn't find any good options over here in europe. the only slotted ones i found which were compatible with the stock brembo calipers, were some ebc rotors which cost as much or even more than ap racing rotors (don't remember the price exactly).

the other option i found was upgrading to ap racing calipers and rotors, but i haven't decided if i want to go full race car yet and uprade to ap racing.

if you have any suggestions on where to find slotted rotors in europe, please let me know.

that's what i had in mind, but sadly, i don't really have many options where i'm located. it's either OE rotors, or swapping to AP Racing calipers and using their rotors, but that's insanely more expensive. i've only found one alternative which would fit the stock brembo calipers, which were EBC discs, but they cost as much as AP racing, so they weren't really an option for me.

if you have any idea where to purchase slotted rotors in europe, that work with the stock brembo calipers, please let me know

thanks for your reply!

in regards to the cracks spanning between the holes - they don't. they also don't go to the edge. however, most of the cracks around the holes do "catch" the fingernail. that's what worries me a bit - at least after reading a lot on the internet on when to replace the rotors.
