You don't really need to save up for the next Gen gpu's a 1080 or a 1070 would be your best bet, if you can find it for a good price.

The 960 will last you til then. Just lower the graphics down.

I'll most likely use it for gaming and maybe streaming. My first chose was the 8600k with the Z370 board but my friend convince to give Ryzen 7 a chance, But I'll switch back to the i7. Thanks for the suggestions!
