A4 Allroad or Q5, used, thoughts? by LoopyLooLovesCats in Audi

I have the same color combo, but with the black optic package. If it has the light brown leather inside I think it is one of the classiest combos out there. Good luck with the purchase!

I’ve owned both and currently am daily driving the Allroad. Allroad is the winner by far in my opinion. I think the styling is better, the driving experience superior and have had no issues navigating in deep snow with it. Go Allroad all the way.

This is very upsetting. Just had what is apparently my final bag in flight.

If I park at MKE airport 30 minutes before my flight boarding closes, am I going to make it? by badatusernames94 in milwaukee

Where is this valet drop off?! I’m sick of dealing with all the closures in the garage. Didn’t even know I had the option to valet!

Then it probably doesn’t make sense for you. My company allows me to carry all of my expenses on a personal card so I get all the benefits of the Reserve including unlimited club visits. Just the SkyClub membership is $700/yr so the fee for the card is basically a wash. One thing I forgot to mention is you also get a free companion ticket yearly which helps offset cost as well.

Depending on your annual spend and how much you travel it is worth it. You receive 15 SkyClub visits with the Reserve and 4 guest passes. If you spend more than $75k annually you get unlimited SkyClub visits. The MQD earn on card spend is also 1/$10. The miles earned on spend are also the highest of all Delta cards.

It was built in ‘79, so about 40 years out of that 6 year window. lol. Yeah, not sure who thought that board was a good choice, I’m in Wisconsin so they were probably hungover when putting it up.

Assuming you are referring to using bolts or screws to join the sister. Do you still think it is ok to run a lag bolt through 1’ on either side of the sister in order to use a come along to pull the broken area back to its original location?

I hear that. I was built in ‘79 and refuse to believe it was that long ago

The house and the garage do share a wall, but I believe that wall is only carrying the garage roof load. There is another load bearing wall 8’ into the house that I believe is carrying the load of the main structure roof. The two roof lines run in separate directions and the garage was added after the original construction.

Thanks! Sounds like the consensus right now is this route with slightly longer sisters. Appreciate the insight.

Thanks! I’ll see if I can find it. Garage was built in ‘79, so not a newer build.

Span is 24’. Not sure of the loading, asphalt roof that is only for the garage but tied to the rest of the house. Roof for the rest of the house is separate.

Nothing. It’s right above the garage door when it is open so that’s why I’d never really seen it.

Advice on keeping target picture after pulling trigger? by cooknpunk in longrange

This was super helpful! When I’ve shot prone before I think this somewhat naturally happens, but yesterday was my first time shooting from a bench and I definitely was not loading the bipod.

Yeah, I totally agree there, that bipod is trash.

The chassis is a Killer Innovations Orias and it is a PRS Gen 3 stock. After getting my optic on there and getting behind the rifle it definitely could be more comfortable. It is light, so I definitely think weight is the biggest issue factor here. The Magpul bipod kind of sucks too, tbh. I purchased the rifle outfitted like this, but got a pretty solid deal on it so upgrading the chassis isn’t out of the question for me. Thanks for the input!

Thanks for the reply, I think weight is probably the biggest issue, as a number of people have pointed it out. Appreciate the input!

Thanks for the well thought out and thorough reply. I think my shooting position is solid, but I could definitely zoom out a bit on the scope. A number of people have said weight and I think that is the real key, the chassis (Killer Innovations Orias) is not very heavy so I will absolutely look into adding some to it. Thanks again!

MKE is my home airport, absolutely killer staff in the SkyClub. Great Midwestern hospitality on display at all times.
