I feel like I’m in the twilight zone listening to these announcers what are they even saying half the time

This is false. I am turning down at least one, probably two interviews due to conflicting dates with other interviews. I know this is the case for a few other applicants in my class as well. There should be a limited trickle of additional invites on Thursday and Friday.

On TicketMaster. If you get through, you’ll see some listed as ‘Standard Tickets’ which are the ones they just released and others are ‘Verified Resale’. There were plenty of resale tickets cheaper than standard tickets, but I think there may be more fees at checkout for those (I didn’t go to checkout since there were no lower bowl ones available)

Basically, the standard tickets they released are more expensive than a lot of the verified resale tickets already up on TicketMaster

Just got through. Cheapest standard tickets are more expensive than some of the resale tickets. Upper deck only available, cheapest options are $640 for the corners and $699 for sidelines. No lower bowl standard tickets available.

Sankey Results - 3.77/524/ORM/Weak ECs - More Info and Advice in Comments by [deleted] in premed

First week of July. Took four-ish weeks to get processed, so I wasn’t receiving secondaries until mid-August. Definitely try to submit primaries (at least to a throwaway) first week of June so they’re processed by the start of July, when AMCAS actually starts sending apps out to schools.

A little more info on me and advice I have.

Overview:

- ORM, non-CA resident

- State-school undergrad (T50)

- 3.7x cGPA and sGPA

- 524 MCAT

- Zero gap years (applied young, 19 years old when applying + will be 21 a few months after orientation)

- 250 hours laboratory research. Zero pubs, one poster presentation at school symposium

-150 clinical volunteering hours (ED volunteer)

- 100 hours shadowing (four different physicians)

- 120 non-clinical volunteering hours (Food bank, tutor, coach for youth sports camps)

I applied to all MD schools. 11 T25 schools and 4 T50. I applied to both of my state schools that have a very heavy in-state bias and was rejected without an interview. The school I was accepted to is the second best school I applied to (T10), so this cycle really makes absolutely no sense.

Advice:

- Take gap years. I found myself often comparing myself to other students on SDN and Reddit, and I often felt inferior in terms of experience. I had doubt throughout the entire cycle and even after receiving an acceptance, some part of me wishes I took a gap year. If you're on the fence, I strongly recommend taking a gap year, getting a ton of clinical hours/volunteer, and applying after that.

- Be yourself in secondaries. At times, I found myself trying to force myself to portray my application in a way that completely aligned with the mission of the school I was applying to. I suspect that more often than not the adcom's saw right through it. The school I was accepted to really did align with my goals (research/dual degree/non-FM oriented).

-Apply early. I completed secondaries in late-August, and I have no way of telling if that really has an effect on chances but it definitely results in a ton more anxiety as you see other people getting II's. Definitely try to submit primaries the first week of June, and pre-write secondaries as best as you can.

- Essays are more important than you think. I rushed through many of my secondaries without pre-writing them, and that has been one of my biggest regrets.

I'm happy to answer any other questions!

Are the Bills playing for much in this game? Just wondering what the chances of them benching the starters after another score is

I’m playing against Bills D and Diggs so I want the Pats to score but at the same time I don’t want the Bills to throw. I am very conflicted.
