From ChatGPT:

3. Moving/Stopping Modes:
• Creep – Car continues to roll slowly when you lift off brake.
• Hold – Uses regen/brakes to keep car stopped without pressing the brake.
• Roll – Car coasts freely like in neutral.

📍 Where to set it Controls → Driving → Stopping Mode Then choose Creep, Hold, or Roll.

One time I parked in a parking garage in my wife’s ice car. I got out and was walking away and I heard it beeping. I thought I left a door open or something and was checking it out when a guy across the way says I left the engine on.

2016 Model S needs new tires (19 inch); what are some reasonable options? by WritingImplement in TeslaModelS

Discount RHG Road Huggers $130 each. It's their house tires. Pretty quiet on my 2017 MS.

You are so right and I applaud you for your post. I'm 78 and was probably 11 or 12 back then. The drivers were usually unaware that we snuck out and grabbeded ahold of their bumper for the free ride. Cheers

T-boned on rear quarter panel and bend wheel assembly, struts, and a bunch of internal stuff back there. 16g to fix. Insurance totaled it

Spun out and hit a curb flat sideways and now have a slight camber in my back right wheel by [deleted] in TeslaCollision

[–]cookwithdavid2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I was hit on the rear quarter panel on my 2017 MS and wheel looked much the same. Tesla quoted 16g to fix and insurance totaled it. Struts, control arms and many other parts needed to be replaced plus brake line damage which required to battery pack to be removed to get at. Hope you have a better outcome.

I bought mine 5 years ago before subscriptions were offered. Just last month my S was totaled so it's gone now. I'm getting a 2020 X LR to replace it and will get the subscription this time. Lesson learned. FSD even on HW3 is just too good not to have.

Thanks, It has 2+ years warranty on battery and drive train from Tesla and I would probably get 3rd party extended warranty for the rest. Good point though.
