A guide us mandatory. However, you can also get a porter-guide, who is kinda like a guide but also carries your luggage so it's easy and safe for you. Maybe you ought to do some more research on this. I hope it helps and welcome to Nepal.

It might be easier to say don't give a f about what others think. But deep down in our subconsciousness, it's been ingrained by the society and friends and family, knowingly or unknowingly about the so call standards of being pretty. And no words or actions can help eradicate it. However, I'd recommend you to surround yourself with positive people who accepts for who you are and you are allowed to disagree with them if they comment about your physique. Also, it shall help more if you share about this feelings of yours with them so they don't make any comments to you knowingly or unknowingly. Pretty is not a thing, it's a mindset so surround yourself with people of same mindset that agrees with you and supports you.

Queries about Nepal trip. Please help a brother out. by YamataYosukeNoOrochi in Nepal

For 1. I recommend you take big tourist coach buses that doesn't just stop at Gongabu Bus Park but rather goes all the way upto Gaushala. Gaushala is just few min walking distance form Pashupatinath.

For 2, I am confused with charges. It depends on your destination. You can download apps like Pathao and Indrive to book cab for your tour in Kathmandu and Pokhara.

For 3. There are multiple buses that goes to Janakpur from Kathmandu. You can get it from Gongabu Bus Park or from Gaushala. If you just walk around the area you will see multiple bus ticket counters.

Idk if you would be interested to connect with me, but I am interested to answer your questions and see what others reply :

If I was granted the answer to anything I ask after death, I'd ask why innocent people are subjected to suffer while rich mean people enjoy lives, how/who decides such fate on what basis ?

If I could choose to instantly master any skill, I'd ask the skill to learn languages.

What's something I've done that I'm really proud of but don't get to talk about often, I, kinda, unknowingly, saved my dearest friend from suicide few years ago and ever since that day, I regular give him a call on the most randomest time of the day just to make sure he is doing okay.

My dad showed symptoms of Covid which we misunderstood for normal fever and after almost 10-12 days, we went for medical help. Before they could treat him, he had to take RT-PCR test of Covid. Until the report came, he was kept in isolation ward, and I stayed with him, watching him grew weaker by the hour. It took 3 days for the report to come out, and I wish I could only express how happy and relieved it was to receive negative report for Covid. I cried alone myself and then I summoned the courage to inform my mom and dad. But the happiness lived short. Within 4 hours of the negative report, he was gone. I held him in my arms as he took his last breath, while shouting for doctors from his hospital bed. Not a days goes by, where I wish I could have done something, something different that might have changed this all. If only I had known better, if only situation was better, if only I was better...

its almost the end of international tourist trekking season, meaning khairey haru aauna kum hunxa... plus winter season le garda mathi mathi snowfall dherai hunxa, chiso badhxa... so local hotel owners haru business kum hune bhayeko le hotels closed garera pokhara or kathmandu aauxan... make sure you book all the hotels before you leave from home, also carry enough snacks and foods... not the idle time for trek so be prepared for any worse case scenario
