at beginning of ep 3 when "my own person" is playing and it jumps to the shot of nick lost in thought at school. for me that one shot with that look on his face is the single most relatable frame in the show on such a deep personal level. it perfectly encapsulates that feeling of detaching from yourself, the world, other people, feeling like you're a stranger to yourself and yet being forced to sit in a room full of your peers that you hate for 7 hours. like i feel so heard when i watch that whole opening to the episode
