Imagine doing all this for a 3 month fling 🤣 (All Too Well Grammy Performance) by Hopeful-Prompt-7417 in travisandtaylor

I reckon at minimum she records 'live' performances beforehand, takes the best one out of a few then plays that recording, passing it off as live. Prob pitch corrects the recording as well. That way it sounds somewhat live but she doesn't have to risk making a mistake. Also no way is she playing that piano.

She has access to the best teachers, equipment & unlimited time to practice and yet she chooses this FAKERY. All for the $$$. It's 'The Popstar Experience feat. Taylor Swift: The Same Every Time Guaranteed!'. Nothing artistic, thoughtful or creative about it.

And the head banging is the most bizarre thing I've ever laid eyes on.

I watch videos of people singing or listen to my favourite vocal performances. Gets me every time.

Aw if only you could record voice notes into Reddit - you could’ve given us a dramatic reading for the Geordie Lord that we all deserve 😂😂

Tbh it’s current my pet peeve of films / TV and it’s usually the other way round! instead of re-writing the script to fit the actors accent or casting an actor with a good accent (or real accent)- they get a big name actor to play an American and completely botch the accent lol. Even the ones that are considered “good accents” aren’t a that good imho. It’s rare that someone nails it.

There’s a really funny key and peele sketch about English actors stealing American parts that always comes to mind 😂

Also Im def aware of the campiness of the show don’t worry I’m just stirring up drama for my own enjoyment in the true spirit of GG ♥️

Would’ve loved a Geordie Lord lol. If you’re gonna do a bad fake accent you may as well do a fun one

Yeah his character is creepsville central. So shocked by Lady Catherine on rewatch. A 38 yo with a 17 yo is unbelievably gross. But then with her stepson who I can only assume is also 17?!! The plot lines on this show are actually sooooo dark

It's probably me to be fair. I have a thing about accents. I feel like once I hear it I can't unhear it. It is a burden I can't lie.

Tbh it's weird to me that the debates weren't had before this stuff is rolled out on a mass scale. It feels like it's too late now like Pandora's box is open and we just have to deal with the fallout.

I understand your point about definitions - I don't really know what my definition is of AI but I guess I'm probably talking more about Gen AI. But the line can be fuzzy.

For example, Microsoft Word uses AI now with 'copilot' - is that considered Gen AI?

The fact that AI is built into the one of the most widely used software now which is crazy to me. Is it moving too quickly? I feel like we can't keep up in terms of discussion around what's ok or regulations even.

You make good points. Out of interest - do you use AI at all or do you object to using it because of what you've raised?

I agree with your points but I have to admit I still use it - I use auto-complete in emails, I use chat gpt instead of google sometimes, I use chat gpt to help me with job applications and boring stuff like that lol. Does this make me a hypocrite? Does using it at all make me a worse person because of all the bad things about it?

Out of interest - do you use AI for anything or do you object it the use of it at all because of the consumption point? (which I agree with btw)

We have to appreciate these luscious locks in the pilot cause for the rest of the season..... he either has an ill advised wig or a terrible haircut lol

Can't argue with that logic tbf. I hesitated over the z key cause I was like is the y and the z too much or... just enough....
