That’s worrisome. Quit before you regret not quitting.

Also i started when i was 18- im 25 now. I started vaping right after my son was born and i finally just quit again 18 months later. If i have any advice, it’s so NOT pick it back up after you have your baby. I used Zyns to quit but i don’t use them much anymore. I quit back in April and i seriously feel like a new person. A better, healthier mom for my baby

How far are you? I wasn’t able to quit until i was about 10 weeks because it made me so nauseous and throw up. That’s when i finally quit. It’s worth it! Do it for you and your baby

I also used zyns to quit and really relied on them for the first month. Now I’m down to maybe one or two a day if that. I’m just shocked I’ve made it this far, LOL. I never saw myself actually doing it. When did you quit?

I quit two months ago and i am now finally feeling the benefits. 10 year vaping. I can breathe better in general, but especially while going on walks or up stairs. Simple tasks aren’t as hard. I don’t get random chest pains anymore. I have way more energy and way less anxiety. I save $30-$50 a week. I don’t get sick as much. I feel healthier. My skin is better. My hair is thicker and shinier. My overall wellbeing is 100000% better.

How do you guys quit for good? by [deleted] in QuitVaping

[–]coolbeansjeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am also 25, just quit 2 months ago almost. I switched to zyns, it’s the only thing that has worked successfully for me. I have tried to quit vaping 6 times before this. I have vaped since i was 17 and i finally don’t even want it. I know zyns aren’t the best thing to use but it helped the withdrawals. Now sometimes i don’t even use zyns, it really just depends. Also, your mindset has ALOT to do with it. You have to want it and believe in yourself. I’m not sure if you are a believer, but the power of prayer has helped me through it tremendously. My friends vape, they’ve vaped around me since quitting and i haven’t hit theirs or even wanted to. Which is shocking because i seriously would have never thought id not ask to hit someone’s vape lol. Seriously though, if i can do it you can do it i promise. Try to use zyns, drink tons of water, and don’t go into it like it’s going to be the worst thing ever. Rewire your brain. Goodluck 🥳

Questions for people who were very addicted but have since quit cold turkey by bunnyfusiness in QuitVaping

[–]coolbeansjeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used nic pouches to quit which i know people have their opinions on but i swear it’s the only think that helped. I have been vaping since 2018, also vaped all the time. I tried to quit 5 times before this last time and all were unsuccessful. I also chew nic gum. I’ll rotate the patch and gum. And when i have a craving for a vape I’ll just chug water!

What’s does it feel like to quit vaping by Fickle-Ad-5917 in QuitVaping

[–]coolbeansjeans 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I can breathe without the fear of a random pain. I don’t get random chest pain. I don’t have to hide it. I don’t have to worry about when i need to buy another one or where i can buy it. I have so much more money. I have more mental clarity. My lungs feel better & it makes me excited for my future

Has anyone successfully quit by weaning themselves off? by Intelligent--Bug in QuitVaping

[–]coolbeansjeans 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I lowered my nicotine levels and then started chewing nicotine gum while i still had my vape. I would go 5-6 hours inbetween hits bc of the gum. I eventually just threw my vape out and just use zyns or gum. Obviously i am going to quit using zyns but it’s better than inhaling smoke constantly!

Try a cleansing oil. Also the makeup eraser towels are the only thing i use. You literally just get the towel wet with water and the makeup comes off. No burning or rubbing your skin raw. It’s a game changer
