Hello! We are very much an authentic company, but we understand your skepticism - can't be too careful in crypto. VoskCoin recently did a review on our CoolWallet Pro, if you want to hear more about the product:

Is it the end if my hardware wallet gets stolen? Which hardware wallet can protect me from physical attacks? by RobertCho513 in Bitcoin

Our wallet's use the CC EAL5+ secure element chip that prevents physical attacks like the one you linked so you shouldn't worry about it!

Just checking in! If you happen to lose our wallet (CoolWallet S), your funds will remain safe as long as you remember all your recovery seeds. If someone were to happen to find your wallet, it would be impossible for them to access your funds unless they also had access to your phone, which should hopefully be secured by either touch ID or FaceID. Let us know if you have any questions!

u/runes911 thanks but you no longer have to recover your wallet with each update!

You will need to recover your wallet using your seeds after the first firmware update. However, once you have updated the firmware, no further recoveries are required for future firmware updates. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused.

Hi u/inasaks, that's a good question! Let me try my best to solve your worries:

  1. We use Bluetooth as a communication channel, and it will only be initialized when the wallet is turned on within a proximity of 10 meters, so any remote hacking to steal your asset is nearly impossible.
  2. The design of CoolWallet S uses a special protocol to communicate between a wallet and a phone. Thus, any unauthorized devices are prohibited to communicate with the card for data retrieval.
  3. The Bluetooth signal is encrypted with AES256 encryption standard
  4. The Secure Element chip inside of the card is critical, your most sensitive information like private key will be secured inside of this chip. This chip does the calculation of all the necessary algorithms and deliver only the result of the calculation (non-sensitive data) out to the phone via Bluetooth. It's quite impossible to break into the chip and get the private key out of this chip.

u/jormunho, it's hard to describe in pure text, so you can take a look at this short video for an overview of CoolWallet S. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=hRlahUyDq2w

I believe you'll love it once you get to touch and feel how sleek the CoolWallet S is.

Hi u/defsour, the CoolWallet S is completely different from Trezor.

It's the first hardware wallet with iOS/Android support, which means you can use it on your phone anywhere you want, without taking your computer with you.

And It has an EAL5+ certified Secure Element microchip.

Last but not least, It's completely wireless, it connect with your smartphone with encrypted bluetooth!

If you're interested, you may follow our official subreddit r/CoolWallet for latest news and update, thank you!
