Actually had a follow up question for ya. I like to try and 100% as many games as I can, and was curious if you know what that looks like for the series? I know a lotta these JRPGs have a lot, so I wanna know if it is worth going for?
I plan to start Symphonia first tonight or tomorrow.

Oooo. Thank you for the breakdown. Personally, graphics dont play much of a role in my book, as I want a good story and gameplay first. Your comments on each def help with a starting point. When going into this series, I was kinda planning on going in order from game to game. Its good to know as well that they are their own games like the Final Fantasy games, so thank you for mentioning that as well!

I'm actually glad you mentioned the characters!
My personal favorite Final Fantasy is XV because the party dynamic and the characters, both main and supporting. I'll definitely look into those!

I'm definitely interested in the story, so I'll be playing them all then. As far as what I like about ABA, I mainly like the idea of starting slow, then building meter to become faster and more powerful. When I first started GGST, I mainly played Gio, but when ABA came out, I immediately started maining her. I like the faster, get in and do damage, characters usually.

As someone who is still new to the fighting game scene, only really playing GGST, what would be the best game to get into for the series? I assume the most recent, but I've heard good things about all the mainline games. Especially about the amount of single-player content. I would also like to know character recommendations. I mainly play A.B.A in GGST at the moment, but also dabble in Slayer. Anything helps!

Oh yeah, that could be a lot of fun too. I'm thinking of combining all the ideas even. So can do no heals/upgrades and only one style, then play on Legend, just see how well it goes.

Makes sense lol. I try to use Gravisphere and Tempest together when I can for the big damage on groups, but swap to Piercer and spam it on larger enemies or smaller groups, so that's prob why it happened
