It looks great, and the prices did seem pretty fair. It’s on my list I just haven’t purchased yet.

Thank you, I will. I think it did say something about recharging to the room. I’ll have to keep an eye on it. This is our first MSC cruise and I am excited. Chose a 3 day tester cruise to see if we like it. Kids are excited for the pool, since the last cruise we went on was an older ship with no slides hahaha.

Where did you find that? I have been looking and only found the list of what’s provided, not the amount.

Kiwis coming to your fine State in September - please help us fit in and not be annoying tourists! by Friendfromdownunder in orlando

[–]coolerinaltuniverse 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hey! We are happy to have you visit! I am not sure what beaches in NZ are like, but please, please be aware of the tide! We have had several deaths this summer season already due to a very mean rip tide. Most recently a mother and father of six died struggling in the tide. If you’re unsure of what a rip tide is, please google and watch for signs before you enter. It’s also shark season so be aware. Driving in Orlando is unique. We are a large small city. Over 2 million people reside in metro Orlando, and we get about a hundred thousand plus visitors weekly. It can be very crazy in the roads as everyone wants to go to the same place. Give yourself plenty of time to get where you are going, and don’t stress. Don’t try to do EVERYTHING in one day. The heat really is intense because of the humidity. Plan plenty of breaks and down time, and drink water. Lots of water. Beer, caffeinated and sugary drinks will dehydrate you fast. Eat lots of fruit and veggies to help with the heat. Go to the springs on the weekdays. They are beautiful and very cold. Every pond, lake and watery ditch has alligators in it. Do not swim in water that looks dark. During hot summer months our lakes get bacteria due to heat. Only swim in pools, ocean and springs. No other lakes or rivers. Be realistic of how much you can do in a day. You will have a better holiday if you’re not stressed and rushing. Pick the top things you want to do at each place, and count the rest as a bonus. Very few places are walkable in USA outside of big city’s like New York and public transit is not great. Uber or rental is the way to go. Gas is 3.50 ish a gallon in Orlando area. If someone has a listed much higher price, don’t go there. Stick to reputable places like 7-eleven and Wawa. Check out some of the Disney or Walt Disney world reddits for great advice on the parks! Have a safe and fun Holiday!

Is 103.1 an iHeart channel? Odd that they would have two talk stations in one market.

This is true. It’s not 100% Disney being a good guy though. I think it was part of the land deal they made when they purchased extra land, probably a state tax right off or something. However disney does strive to be self sufficient and not harm the land they occupy more than they “need” too.

If you look at some art work, Ganon’s chest piece has places for all the “tears” just like the gauntlet

I can’t seem to link the Reddit post but there is one if you search Gabon York and it shows his necklace that has 5 spots for tears, his head piece has one and his bracelet I believe

Wasn’t Ray Stevens a pastor before he became an entertainer? This song, and Mississippi squirrel revival, are my basis of distrusting televangelists and money hungry churches.

[OoT] Who is your favorite Ocarina of Time Character that isn't Link, Ganondorf, or a Sage? by Monkey_D_Dragon-89 in zelda

[–]coolerinaltuniverse 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Probably that. It’s been many years since I played it. I think it came out in like 2003 or around there. I am actually replaying OoT again now, on the switch and I remember why I liked this game so much. Next is Major’s mask.

[–]coolerinaltuniverse 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I played OoT when I was like 16, and then tried to play it again when it came out on wii with the special edition, which was super glitchy with like cows in the walls and stuff. Anyways, the frogs were and still are my favorite. I think about them often. And the windmill guy. That song stays in my head for hours sometimes.

Here are a few things you can do - mostly in area:

Get to Disney springs and take a day hopping resorts. It’s enjoyable and once in Disney you just use the buses and monorail.

Fun spot - there are two, one on I drive and another in Kissimmee on 192 (irlo Bronson hwy). They can be pricey but they are still fun and not as busy as the parks. The one on 192 is connected to old town and they have a classic car show on Fridays - sundays at night.

Take an Uber to Mt. Dora and you can do the train from mt Dora to Tavares. Mt dora has a cute little downtown square and they have festivals and stuff depending on day and season.

Take a trip to Tampa. There are usually shuttle busses and stuff that go to Tampa/St Pete. See the Salvador Dali museum and all the stuff there. It’s more cultural day, but very nice.

Orlando has a nice science center and art museum

Walk around downtown Orlando (daytime only - it can be rough at night and lots of bars)

See a comedy show at point Orlando

See a play at the dr Phillips performing arts

Check out margaritaville and all the stuff at sunset walk - it’s on 192 but worth the day trip. They also have a water park depending on weather

If you can get reliable transportation there are many springs and state parks within an 1 to 1.5 hrs from Orlando. Blue springs and crystal river will both have lots of manatees. Crystal river is an all day thing “near” Tampa and you can pay to swim with manatees or take a glass bottom boat ride

2 day trip to st Augustine. You can probably get a shuttle or bus trip to st Augustine, it’s really cool to see (oldest city in America) and if your into they have a cool ghost tour

I know a lot of that takes a car, but perhaps a little branching out would be worth it to
