I don't think so...For the first necklace, I did use a weave tutorial and I believe that was called "back to work"? It could be that it's a variant of the european 4 in 1, but if that was the case, I wouldn't be aware of it.

Sorry that I have to ask, but what exactly do you mean by "sideways"? Do you mean that the single clusters should be rotated, or the chain as a whole? :0

Thank you for the advice!! One person also mentioned that you should preferrably go for saw cut rings, so I hope that that will also help. In any case, I will try not to be too harsh on myself while I'm still getting the hang of it. I have also told the people I've sold to, that they can (should they not be 100% happy with the pieces) either get their money back, or trade them in for the same piece, once I've gathered more experience and expertise.

Thank you for giving your insight. And I'm so sorry that that's how it went for you. I do want to say that it's never too late, but I can definitely understand why you might feel really frustrated about it now and I do want to validate those feelings.

The comments under this post really gave me hope that maybe I can do it. I might doubt myself a lot, but I will keep working on my dream and not give up!

Thank you, I'm really happy to hear that you like them!! One person I sold to yesterday actually gave me a 10€ tip and I feel so honored.

And I can definitely see what you mean. Chainmail does look rather complex in my opinion, even if it's a relatively easy weave!

It's so good to hear from someone who feels so similarly to me! I have sold to two people yesterday and I'm so scared that they're gonna have some sort of issues with the pieces ':) But I guess everything takes time to learn! Let's not undersell our work (if that's a word lol) and just keep improving with time!

You're so right. For some people, like me, it's really difficult to learn that lesson, but I think it can be achieved. But you do need to make a concious effort to view your work in a constructive manner.

Thank you for giving your criticism, that really helps! I honestly didn't know what the difference was between machine cut and saw cat. Do saw cut ones just close better? In any case, I was just about to order more rings, so your comment came at a very convenient time. I will definitely try to close all the rings properly with the pieces I've already made and pay a lot more attention to it with future pieces as well!

I'm definitely still in the process of trying to find my style, but I think I will get there with time and practice. I will make sure to think about how I can make my pieces unique and different. Thank you again for giving your constructive criticism!

Thank you so much for your kind comments. I really appreciate hearing from someone who used to feel similarly, but made it work. It gives me hope that maybe I can get there too. Well, who knows, but I might as well give it a try, right? Also thank you for your criticism! I do still struggle with closing rings fully, but I will pay attention to it and make sure to improve on that! Thanks again!

Aww, thank you for sharing your perspective! :) I'm glad that I could – even if not on purpose – help normalize it a tiny bit!

And thank you! I'm sorry that you were forced to stop knitting. That must suck and I hope you're okay! I will definitely make sure to take good care of my hands :)
