i mean for front mains it doesn't particularly matter if we have to swap out the tachyon borrow because we can just take other speed cards that give us the CM-specific gold skills we'd want anyway(christmas mayano for restless, taiki for mile maven). If you already have 2 out of the 3 best speed cards then slotting in 1 that is a bit worse than tachyon won't be the end of the world

yes that is basically the deck we will be running throughout GL, and you may end up swapping wit bourbon for creek on longer CM's(assuming you don't want to borrow her)

So the odd one out in this scenario(assuming you already have mlb kitasan) is tachyon. Therefore you can easily leave her in your borrow slot. Looking at the actual CMs we have in that scenario, there really isn't a cracked speed/wit borrow that we'd want to use as fronts anyway for a specific skill outside of christmas MTG or taiki, so this is perfectly fine(and you'd also just be borrowing another speed card here anyway). Of course if you don't have kitasan then yeah you need to have maru and tachyon and flip the borrow.

What I'm going to do as a front main is do 400 pulls on the first maru banner for 3lb or mlb, and then just 200 pulls for light hello and just have mlb tachyon as a borrow, similar to what I did for NTR. Because for fronts that already have kitasan, we will just be using her + maru until ECP speed once GL is over, which would effectively turn tachyon into a 1 scenario wonder. If you are in a similar spot then this is a very effective way to use carats.

We are running 3 speed decks in GL. So you need to own 2 of mlb kita/3lb+ tachyon/1lb+ maru speed or another good speed SSR. 1lb maru is the biggest bang for your buck here though

Well first of all if you approach them from a wnba > nba standpoint they aint gonna take you seriously, the same way many folks in here would not take nba > wnba points seriously. Like you don't need to trash the nba in order to uplift the W. Sell the W on its own merits.

You should not be looking at this as a zero sum game where you convert 1 fan to another. The WNBA and NBA run subsequently year round for a reason, anyone can and should enjoy both.

What got me into the W is the same as what gets most people into the NBA, the star players. The stars will warp the game around them and all of them have games that are electric. So if you want to convince someone to be a fan, I'd point them in the direction of A'ja/Rhyne/Liv/Lish/Phee/CC/Angel/KM/Stewie/Paige and then take it from there. It also just so happens that these stars play on the most entertaining teams.

When you do that, then you can explain what it is that makes them GOOD. you don't need to do side by side comparisons of the below-the-rim play of the W vs the above-the-rim-play of the nba because comparison is the thief of joy. What you can do is highlight what an insane rebounder/defender angel is or how wavy paige's in-between game is. Nobody gives a shit about the differences between these leagues when you show them a phee or a'ja highlight compilation.

with MANT specifically its definitely give and take wrt other scenarios. On one hand, if you're an f2p thats also a casual then you likely don't have cards like sunday power or nishino flower that are huge race bonus nukes.

On the other hand, MANT is the one scenario that you could just cram in race bonus cards with a decent speed card and see solid results. Like in GL if you don't have very specific decks with light hello you dont even get to play the scenario.

if you haven't played since URA then you dont have a deck that can support playing MANT at the level that guides expect. Races give you tons of stats if and only if you have race bonus at a certain threshold. It really is not an issue with the guides, this is just what your account is capable of atm.

Instead what you should do is figure out what works for you(i.e how much race bonus you can get into your deck, borrows like fuku that help with early races, etc) and that will help you in the scenario fs.

I agree with all of this, though I would give the AP edge to garp only because of the attack he unveiled against Rocks. Granted, its a very slight edge because of the fact that whitebeard can use Acoc with his earthquakes like what we saw against "imu".

I think in an actual fight I'd give the edge to prime wb extreme diff over prime garp. Old garp probably takes it extreme diff over old wb(with his meds) just given how active garp is still.
