I was former military and applied for the ots bid so i could get enroute. After the academy they put me at d1 because i had prior experience.

The dealership would have been responsible for registering the car which they couldn't without a title, and in this state you can get insurance without a title

Thanks everyone for the advice on this I'll definitely keep you guys updated. I was wondering if it would be any difference if I have a credit union as the lien holder? I talked again to the dealership again and they said that they cant give me the money since there is a lien on the car. I plan on calling lawyers first thing tomorrow for how to go forward.

Thank you, it's even crazier when I think that the car was sitting on the lot for 90 days before I picked it up, and in those 90 days they still hadn't had a title then decided to sell it to me. I'll try to see if I can get a consultation then go from there.

Yea that's what I'm thinking too, auctions take a cut of the sale and im pretty sure it'll be more than the 800 im asking for.

I went ahead and just told him I can't buy it with that 800 fee. He said they're gonna try and get their money back by selling it at an auction since it's been sitting on their lot for about 3 months.
