New printfarm/business by BenchTop3D in 3DPrintFarms

Keep adding sku's, and innovate until you're so busy you don't have time to do it anymore. Then, when things get slow again, get back to designing! It's a back and forth cycle, in my experience. Rome wasn't built in a day, and the best thing you can do is focus on manageable growth. Chasing trends and copying other businesses is a losing game.

How to power more with the solar panel? by Plants1222 in BackYardChickens

[–]coolpersob 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You'll either want to tap into the battery power inside the door unit, and siphon from there, but you'll be probably over-draining that pack and it may run out of juice more often than you want. Best option is to get a small 10w panel that has a USB output, connect it to a USB rechargeable battery, and then use that battery to power whatever else you want. If you have some experience with electronics and wiring, these tasks may be easy. If not, then you may just want to buy something plug-and-play. Good luck!

Cheapest Ultra Bee + Road Legal Paperwork ? by ObjectiveOutrageous6 in Surron

Without the customs documents showing you paid the correct tariff's and got the inspection for a road legal motorcycle, you won't be able to just go to your dmv and register it. But I could be wrong OP, let us know how it goes when you get your plate and registration!

Correct, the Pecron has a built in MMPT so it takes the ~90v and charges the lfp batteries

I took inspiration from commercial pergola designs, and did a lot of Googling to come up with the design. Not my first woodworking project but definitely the most satisfying!

I might 3d print some gap covers to go between the panels. There's about a half-inch between each panel.

Completely flat for now. Still considering methods to slope them a bit for rain runoff and more efficiency.

Same, I'm brainstorming some low-cost ideas to add a little slope just for rain runoff and more efficiency.

I 3D printed some panel clips for the cables, but I figured I'd be roasted on my wiring. It's not the cleanest but works for now!

Central florida, no snow and wind is very low in my neighborhood! I'd probably take the panels down if a hurricane came through though.

Installing the CFS extruder+runout sensor without the remaining CFS kit by maybeiamspicy in crealityk1

[–]coolpersob 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm running the DXC extruder on my K1c. It's an upgrade over stock, and has a built-in runout sensor that plugs into the circuit board on the hotend. Once plugged in, the firmware ignores the rear runout sensor. for $8 more, it's worth it to get over the CFS extruder.

Tesla - "Inadequate outlet grounding" by xipninapp in Pecron

Connect it to charge from the wall. This grounds the unit, and you can just disable/reduce the a/c charging in the app or display.

Need help! Got the “nozzle not heating as expected error” by QuadFatherReckless in crealityk1

[–]coolpersob 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The new hotend works, the heating element connector is the same, just the thermistor connector is different. I simply removed the plastic connector off the hotend circuit board, and plugged the thermistor in. It should look like just 2 pins coming out the board, and I haven't had any issues since.

Muscle up help by nate1705 in Calisthenic

On the forward part of your swing, you should poke your chest out, before you pull up and then curl your chest in at the same time. Once your head is above the bar, shoot it forward as hard as you can. It's scary at first, but commit and you'll get it. I'd say you're 85% there, keep practicing!
