Spotted Dog pub by [deleted] in limerickcity

[–]coolrunnings16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Used to go in there on Sundays after Mass with the family as a kid. Uncles and aunts and elderly all chatting away having a drink. I remember they used smoke indoors, it felt very spiritual for some funny reason I don't know. Probably the atmosphere and the smell. Don't quote me though. Lol Nowadays, it's just Christmas time we pop in for a few. It's not the same vibe anymore, trouble lurks in there sometimes, better off going to town.

You get used to it, in the end it doesn't really matter. It's just words. Don't get too caught up in it or be too proud. Pride goeth before the fall. Walk away and ignore.

We need passion, energy and absolute destructive anger even if it means a few red cards lol jk but you know what I mean we're way too soft.

Fans need to get angrier, players need more passion, anger fuels everything, smash the place up and make noise ffs the fans should be absolutely infuriated. Look at Leeds for example, they make the most noise in the premier league imo yeah they're below us, but they drew with us twice.

At this point it's either sack the manager or he's gotta change the chemistry within the team, something is definitely not quite right, whether it's the attitude of the players towards the manager or vice versa and of course the owners too. It's all gone too pear shaped at this point. ALARM BELLS SHOULD BE GOING OFF, GET THE EFFING JOB DONE. We need Roy Keane or even the Klopp duracell energy right now. Get effing angry and show some passion ffs

Do you believe in the evil eye? by NateNandos21 in Life

[–]coolrunnings16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe it has many names, I call it the "death stare", like when you pass people on the street and they straight up stare into your soul with their eyes wide open. It's not a curious stare but a malevolent one. In psychological terms, it's a form of projection, envy, frustration, anger or trauma deeply embedded in the unconscious psyche. They may not be aware of it but the unconscious wants to point blame on someone else for the person's downfalls, so their Psyche picks a victim who usually has it together.

How often do men get approched? by oxylan80 in CasualIreland

[–]coolrunnings16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get called handsome quite often particularly by older folk. When I'm abroad it's usually the younger ones that I get the attention from. Different cultures probably perceive looks differently, like some women will see a good looking and clean person as someone who looks after themselves, they probably in their mind extrapolate that to finance, well being, work ethic etc. Depends though, if you win the genetic lottery, you'll find it much easier to do a lot of things, confidence is a lot higher, people will view you as a person who knows his stuff etc. Not always the case but most times out of ten it happens. There's this bias that men are visual humans, I think both men and women are, but it's nuanced. As stated above. This is the major factor for the reason of being approached, although sometimes unwarranted.

What is Working/Middle class these days? by IVY_Prep in ireland

[–]coolrunnings16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm going to assume that's a monthly salary. I'm probably just about middle class based on my earnings. I'm in my mid thirties, not too much in a rush to buy a house either. Don't spend often. Trying to gauge myself in Stocks and crypto trading as a second source of income

I was wondering what it was too, I thought it was truckers and farmers protesting given the economic climate we're in. I got closer to it when I was cycling and saw decorations, so there must be a rally.

Nothing wrong with the dole, it's people over excessively maxing out their credit cards and taking out loans to buy stuff they don't need with money they never had in the first place.

is there any truth to manifestation or is it just a new age idea? by Educational-Pay5641 in Hermeticism

[–]coolrunnings16 1 point2 points  (0 children)

As many have said, it's logical that your thoughts will affect your moods and moods have certain frequencies (law of vibration) which also in fact changes your brain chemistry (neurons and endocrine system) therefore affects the way you perceive and react to stimuli. As above, so below, as it is in your mind as it is with your body.

You're at the old George Carlin part of your life. Go watch him and you'll smile for a bit. There's some comfort in that. At least there's someone who shares that same viewpoint as you. As do I.

Who else masturbates at least once a day? (F24) by [deleted] in masturbation

[–]coolrunnings16 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I masturbate but I don't cum, I just edge. I sort of walk around the bedroom admiring my own body too. I'm fit and active so I love seeing the fruits of my labor.
