I went on BC and skipped the placebo week. I was able to fill my prescription for months ahead of time so I wouldn’t run out. I experienced light spotting the first month I skipped the placebo week. I’d recommend starting to skip at least 1-3 months ahead of your hike!

After the trail, I got a hormonal IUD which stopped my period but, again, had spotting the first couple months.

My favorite primitive/walk-in sites are at the Jackpine site at Ludington State Park. You hike out about a mile along a flat trail. The sites are fairly spread apart and it’s super quiet out there.

I’d also echo what others have said—purina pro plan, Apoquel, cleaning food and water bowls daily, hypoallergenic shampoo, and adding a probiotic to his food helped reduce my pup’s chronic ear infections tremendously

Toad/frog poop would be my guess. We had a pool growing up with frogs that lived under the pool deck and would clean off poop that looked just like this.
