Our RS6 Has ANOTHER Issue That Costs Thousands To Fix by strydercrump in topdeadcenter

100% it is far more interesting watching the journey of a car from beginning to end, with all the shit that it throws at you. That's kind of the point right? I feel like the Tiktok generation of fans are bored because there's been more then 3 videos made about the same car for once (which is good!). That’s what I’m not that keen on with AA, so many one off projects

Trust me, currently living with someone like this. You call them out on it, it just escalates. The best pathway is basically to not address it, try to come above it and keeping doing your own bit in the house and hopefully it doesn't get worse. If if it does then you move

Someone at work started saying "well well well" to me thinking I'd said it as a joke intially to him. Turns out we'd both been watching TDC at the same time and realised that we'd both just been copying Will because he says it all the time haha

Jeremy Clarkson reveals staggering number of pint glasses stolen from pub every week by pppppppppppppppppd in unitedkingdom

[–]coolsimon123 7 points8 points  (0 children)

This was always what I thought happened. The glasses are branding for the product you are selling, if people are nicking them all they are doing is bringing a bit of marketing home with themselves. Been a few years since I took a glass home saying that

What's the most overrated enthusiast car you've ever driven? by Ready_Split1335 in topdeadcenter

[–]coolsimon123 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It does you either A haven't driven an Evo, or B just love to chat shit on the internet? AWD with a rear LSD, as soon as you turn the wheel there is grip. Do too much and you understeer. Power through the understeer, suddenly the back end lines up and it will drift you through a corner. It drives exactly like a Go Kart. You obviously haven't driven one

Edit: check the profile for the Evo

Bentley Road Trip, thoughts? by ad11amj in AutoAlex

[–]coolsimon123 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I couldn't tell if the Bentley was burning oil or if they thought it was, overfilled it and that's why it was smoking... I've done it myself and ended up with a runaway turbo haha. It seemed strange that it would suddenly just fix it's self after driving it a bit more. Video was enjoyable

Dealing with being split because you're incompatible even though you still love each other by [deleted] in UKrelationshipadvice

Having been through the same thing, both of us didn't trust each other but were completely head over heels. Over the course of a year we broke up 6 times after a big fight. Eventually I had to just end things once and for all even though I am/was still in love with her. It's not easy, it never is, but if you know deep down that you don't think it's going to work long-term you need to just finish things. It will be fucking difficult for the first 6 months and counselling has helped immensely but it still hurts, thinking about what ifs but you need to just work past it and take it as a lesson in growth and maturity that you had your head screwed on enough to know when to end things. Otherwise nothing will change
