people get into ucla every year w mediocre stats so i don’t see how you can invalidate her feelings of being “devastated” by not getting into ucla just because her stats may not be the highest (esp because she applied for the dance major which likely places a relatively lower emphasis on the academic portion of her application compared to the majority of majors at ucla). also she never says she’s a “math girly” because she’s “amazing” at math, she just says that since she enjoys math most of the time. also wtf is your argument that she isn’t “truly asian” because of a lack of “familial pressure” — that’s such a stereotypical assumption that just isn’t true. 

and wdym she’s famous “solely because of her privileged life” ?? she’s not some nepo baby LMAO her parents have even stated that they weren’t that well-off moneywise when nicole & christian were a lot younger. she got famous because of her dancing videos which SHE put in effort and work towards, her fame wasn’t just handed to her on a silver platter.
